Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: My Wardrobe Essentials

Who wants fashion tips and shopping advice from the girl who lives in workout gear and dry shampoo?! Don’t all raise your hand at once. 😉 Really though, between training for shows, building our businesses, and just #momlife, I have very little time for getting ready, let alone shopping. Truth be told, I only shop about once a year…and it’s always during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale. Every year I stock up on my classic favorites and splurge on a few fun pieces to get me through the season until I’m forced to shop again. From tops, to jeans, and easy-to-wear shoes, here are my favorite, simple, everyday pieces!

Jeans are every mom’s go-to. My Paige Jeans (splurge worthy) are a long time favorite, made to last forever, and the fit is perfect. Whether you’re looking for high waisted, cropped length, or everyday comfort, these are my top jean picks (including these budget-friendly pair coming in under $50!):

Shoes: If you’re ever asking yourself, what goes more perfectly with a new pair of jeans, my next pick is the answer: A cute, easy, everyday bootie! I snagged these in the tornado color, but I’m obsessing over the black and “foxy” colors too! I. Love. These. Shoes. They seriously go with everything! I wear them every season of the year and with every style of clothing—from dresses to jeans to shorts—they work with it all. They’re quality boots that can stand up to everyday wear without being too stiff. Two thumbs way up for these guys! If you’re looking for something more budget friendly, these are a MUST! The bootie obsession is real. Something about how polished and put together a good pair of booties makes an outfit look, paired with how unreasonably comfortable and wearable they are, make these my ultimate go-to. I’m not ashamed to admit these aren’t the only two pairs of booties in my closet!

Tops: Nothing makes a 30-second, ready in no time outfit like a perfect tee. I’m loving this long sleeved t-shirt (Bonus tip: It comes in under $20)—it’s the best in all the land. Guys, I consider myself quite the t-shirt connoisseur (mostly because that’s 99.9% of my wardrobe), and this one is hands-down one of my favorites. It’s super lightweight without being overly sheer, and the scoop, almost off the shoulder, neck keeps it fun without taking away from its classic, versatile look. You’re going to want to grab one in every color, and at 19 bucks, you totally can without breaking the bank! If you’re looking for a tank look, this tank is a bit of a splurge for me, but honestly, it’s worth every dang penny. The length and fit of this tank is flawless, and the material is so high quality I have no doubt it’ll last me more many summers to come—which with my wear and tear on tees is hard to come by. Pair it with a cute sports bra or bralette to finish off the look!

Workout Gear: I get a lot of emails and comments on social media wanting to know about what I am wearing. It always catches me off guard, but most days, I live in workout gear. From sneakers to my joggers, these are my favorite budget friendly finds!

Bonus Find: Kendra Scott Elisa Filigree Pendant Necklace (only $35.90!). Dear Kendra Scott, everything you make is pure gold. Not literally, obvi, but, ya’ know. Guys, I truly bought this necklace in all three colors. I basically HAD to. They’re so easy to throw on, just dainty enough, but they still make a statement and go with literally everything in my closet. They’re the perfect necklace for a night out with the hubs or just mommin’ it around town. And are we serious about that price tag?! Such a steal for a designer piece!

So there you have it—my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale must-haves. What are you waiting for—let’s go shopping! Share your faves in the comments below…because there’s still time for me to do more shopping! 😉

Xoxo,

Heidi

If you have very little time to get ready how does your hair and makeup always look so good!? Would love a blog post with hair and makeup tutorial. You’ve said you have a quick makeup routine and I’d love to feel better about myself when I leave the house but I just never have enough time!😀
