  1. I returned to Carbo Cycling one week ago…I was doing the turbo cycle based on the Choose To Lose
    book. I since received your new Extreme Transformation book and started off with the 4 high carb
    days and then the 2 low carb days…unfortunately, my weight went up 5 pounds. Since I was having
    success with the Turbo Cycle before, do you think I should stick with it or give this new book more
    time? I really appreciate your reply.

    1. Hi Kaye: It can take a bit of time for your body to adjust to a new way of doing things, so do the Extreme Cycle for a complete 21-day phase, and then you can either do another phase or change to the Turbo Cycle for a bit. Since the Extreme Cycle has more high carb days in a row, these extra carbs can cause some water retention, and hopefully this will go away once your body gets used to this new cycle. You can do this!
