A Very Merry Powell Pack Christmas Tree

It’s true. Last year, we kept our tree up into the new year?and then some! With the holiday season feeling so busy, it sometimes feels like the the moment the turkey hits the Thanksgiving table, the gift giving lists are already in hand. Suddenly, the elf is on the shelf, and it?s Christmas time! So why not savor it a little, right? There are always holiday classics, like stockings (ON SALE for $14) hung by the chimney and getting the tree up that make the house feel magical. We?ve been pulling out all of our decorations, adding tiny holiday touches that make it really feel like Christmas, and since I get a lot of questions about my holiday decorations, I thought I?d put together a few of my favorite pieces to share that holiday spirit from our house to yours!

Outfit Details: Ruby’s Dress (Bonus: $20) and shoes, Roberto Cavalli Jumpsuit (similar here), Jimmy Choo Shoes (similar here and here)

Here’s how we’re decorating the tree:

Here’s how we’re decking the halls (and the mantle):

What are your favorite holiday decorations? Please share below, and happy holidays!

Xoxo,

Heidi

My favorite decoration is the Christmas Tree ?No one is alike and you can change them every year. I also like the Christmas cookies that decorate the inside of my stomach. ?? Christmas comes but once a year so you have to indulge a little? My most treasured decoration this year is my first nativity set that I got from an aunt who passed away last month. ??

Wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas from the mitten! ??

  2. My favorite holiday decorations are homemade!!! My son brought home a clear bulb with his handprint on it.. I cherish it ? I also recieved a wood snowman from my husbands aunts which is one of my favorites as well.. it just shows that thry cared enough about you to take time out of their day yo make you something.

  3. Every time I travel I collect a tree decoration. My tree is now made up of amazing decorations from all around the world. Something passed down to me from my Nan & Mum!
I also have an obsession with all things stag so any stag related christmas Items always take Center stage!

  4. I think this is my final step in your contest ???. Mom of 4 so just trying to be present in the moment! My favorite decoration is our tree – the kids do all of the ornaments and there are ALL clumped on the front of the tree! How tempting to move them around but NOPE – it?s their masterpiece. Oh, and they?re 15, 12, 10 & 8 ??

  5. Our favorite holiday decorations are the little ornaments we have collected on all our travels. Whether we hang them on a tree or place them on a mantle, they are an integral part of our yearly celebrations. Each piece represents a memory of love and happiness we had while in a certain place and keeps us close to those we hold dear and those that are no longer around to share the holidays with us.
Much love to you and your family Heidi

  6. My favorite Holiday decorations are the prize poppers on the table settings! It is my absolute favorite memory and a tradition my family has done every Christmas at my grandmas! We all pop open our prize poppers before we eat, and wear the paper crowns and share the jokes. We also are big on stockings!

  8. Hello Heidi?First I’d like to thank you for being such an amazing wife!! To think how much you must really want to help people like me to lose The unhealthy weight that is killing a lot of Americans today!! Having the compassion to share you and your husband to help people that you don’t even know is such a Blessing. Unfortunately I’ve been struggling with my weight for over 35yrs?I exercise everyday but I just can’t get my diet under control! I’m so ashamed of myself and I’ve raised two children to reach for the highest level of life?Yet I have completely given up the notion that I will live to see them succeed ?I really don’t know why I hate myself so much but I know that there is some fight in me. I’m 54yrs old and am tired of hearing your so pretty and look so young but never you look so healthy ?I’d rather be healthy!!! All I want for Christmas Is A Push in the right direction!! Again Thanks for your caring heart ??
