Santa vs. Heidi Part 2 || Geography Skills, Flexibility, and College Boozing Pay Off (Kind Of)

Ohhh Santa, when will you learn that I am just not someone you should mess with?! Round deux of our (not so) classic Christmas competition proved to be better than the last. I mean, who knew Santa keeps a “chugging apparatus” with him at all times, or that Tasmania is even a country? #GeographyWasNotMyThing 😉 I learn something new every Christmas, I tell ya’. Find out whose college boozing skills helped them dominate the Eggnog Challenge, whose geography skills could use some brushing up on, and which one of us is a bit more bendy than the other?all in this year’s Santa vs. Heidi Showdown!!!! PS: We have the cutest Elfkin this year…some serious calorie-free sweetness!

Some of my favorite holiday challenge?items (and I’ve added my super comfy PJs in here too):

Xoxo,

Heidi

  1. Hi Heidi,
You have such a beautiful family! I need your help. Can you please email me? My dad is between 500-600 pounds. He can’t tie his own shoes and walking 10 steps makes him completely out of breath. My mom does everything for him(because he can’t get up). He comes home from work and sits on the couch and doesn’t move. He also sits all day at work. He has a cough that won’t go away and I know it all goes with him being overweight. I’m so worried about losing him but when I tell my mom about it, she gets defensive because I know she’s scared too. My dad is retiring at the end of March after 25 years at his company-and I want to give him his life back. He needs you and Chris so bad. He can’t just walk into a gym because he has bad knees and neck. I know it all comes down to weight. Please! Please! Please! Help!

    1. Hi Wendy: Thank you for your comment and for sharing your dad’s story with us. Your dad can learn all about Chris and Heidi’s carb cycling program – the same program they use on the show – in this post: https://heidipowell.net/9060, and this post has links to a lot of other very helpful information too. And please make sure he discusses any nutrition and exercise program with his healthcare team first and then follows their recommendations. He can do this…one baby step and promise after another!

    1. Hi Ramone: Casting for the show is currently closed, but you can begin your transformation journey today with the tools in this post: https://heidipowell.net/9060. And be sure and follow all the links within the post too. You can do this!

  3. Heidi Powell I got your book for Christmas and as I’m going over it, my only concern is the seafood and fish because I do not eat it. Can you replace these meals with ones from other low or high carb days depending on what day your on!?
