Meet the Powell Pack: Episode 6 – Season Wrap Up

In the thick of it all – filming EWL, keeping our transformations afloat, writing a book, press tours, media events, business planning, and just everyday family life – our journey as the Powell Pack has been a little overwhelming at times (and still can be!). But this doesn’t take away from how amazing it feels to be a part of such incredible transformations. When we finally get a second to breathe, we realize how many people have experienced a positive change in their lives because of the mission we are on…and?this?reward is sweeter than anything.
I hope you enjoy the final episode of Meet the Powell Pack…it’s not only special because it recaps what I talked about above, but it was also when we found out our sweet Ruby Lane was coming into our lives!!

Powell Pack out!

Xoxo,

Heidi

  1. Hello Chris and Heidi,
I have watched every episode since the beginning and come away truly inspired. My problem is procrastination and excuses. I am hooked on Mountain Dew and know I need to get off it. I had a gastric sleeve in January 2012 and lost 80 pounds. A year and a half later, I started with the Mtn. Dew again. I have regained 30 of the 80 I lost. Now I am having pain in my feet but don’t want that to prohibit me from starting my weight loss journey. In one of your recent episodes( I think it was Hannah) she broke her foot but she was still able to work out and lose weight. Can you tell me the exercises you gave her to do? I know one was a rowing machine which I do like but don’t have access to. I do have a bike but heard recently not to depend too much on cardio to lose weight. Is this true? Tried to do “your favorite exercise” the burpee, but wound up looking more like a frog who can’t hop! Thanks for your time.

    1. Hi Jennifer: Here’s Chris and Heidi’s #1 transformation tool, and it can help you with your Mountain Dew issue or any other things that are keeping you from reaching your goals: https://heidipowell.net/8679. Give it a try – it works! As for your feet issue, it’s best to work with your healthcare team on any exercises that will involve using your feet since they know your exact issues and can work with you on a one-on-one basis. We want to keep you safe! And remember, good nutrition is 90% of weight loss, so even though you can’t move as much as you’d like to, you can still achieve your goals.

  2. Dear Heidi and Chris,

I simply Love, love, love your show and DVR each and every episode. Keep doing what you’re doing by fighting for others and inspiring folks to get healthy, feel better and look great! You guys are the BEST and I hope your show continues for many, many more years to come!

P.S. I am slightly overweight by (35 pounds ) and look to your show to keep me motivated to continue to move in the right direction.

  4. Chris and Heidi you are both so inspirational for everybody. I know I don’t weigh 200 lbs or more but I weigh 167, and stand 5’2. My question is : I am trying to burn fat in m back and stomach. I have cut back on the sweets and I am walking 30 mins a day except on Thursday and Friday, I am still working so it is a little hard for me to do as much as I would like too, I am asking for your help in trying to build more muscle and burn the fat especially in my back and stomach and abs. I don’t want to waste your time just would like some professional help please email me or if you have the time just call me this would be a dream for me, because I am all about helping people too. But just to hear from you would make my dream come true. Congratulations on the new baby you have such beautiful children just beautiful. Hope to hear from you soon. 301-526-9416 Jocelyn Russell, Upper Marlboro Md 20774

    1. Hi Jocelyn: Thank you for your post! You might want to check out Chris and Heidi’s carb cycling program. It’s their complete nutrition and exercise program, and it will teach you everything you need to know and do to achieve your transformation goals: https://heidipowell.net/9060. Unfortunately, you really can’t spot reduce since any extra fat will leave your body in a way that’s unique to your body. That can be so frustrating! It’s so important to work all the muscle groups in your body through cardio and strength training, and as you eat right and work out regularly, any extra pounds should go away. You can do this!

  5. Wow, I am so inspired by the shows I have watched, and wish there was something like that in New Zealand. The results and stories and outcomes are so wonderful, it is the most uplifting program I have encountered in a long time. Thank you Chris and Heidi for what you do.. Please come to NZ!

  6. I just love watching you both, the respect and love you show when you speak to each other inspires me to be more appreciative and acknowledge what my husband does for me. Thank you so much for setting such inspiring example for younger couples to follow.

  7. I just came across your webisodes and I absolutely LOVE all six! You guys are such a wonderful inspiring family. I have (to date) lost 142 lbs and am loving life like never before! I always tune in (or dvr) EWL so that I do not miss a minute of that precious priceless inspiration and encouragement. I always end up crying EVERY EPISODE…tears of joy and tears of pain as I have been down “that struggling road” so many times before in my life and to see how you guys transform your “peeps” minds and bodies in incredible! I hope someday just to get a glimpse of that wonderful Institute in Colorado. Keep up all the fabulous work you both are doing….and much love and blessings to your beautiful family!

  8. Why can’t we watch Meet the Powell Pack from Canada? That is sooo unfair 🙁

Thanks for giving me motivation day after day 🙂 You are such an inspiration!
