Finding Strength In Our Struggles

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.” -Arnold Schwarzenegger

We are all human. We all struggle, and are perfectly imperfect. Embrace and learn from your own struggles, and view them as the opportunity for growth that they are :-).

  1. Thank you so much for sharing your struggles. I’ve been battling a binge eating disorder and have been struggling with bulimic tendencies since I was 15 years old. It’s nice to know that the people who seem “perfect” struggle with the same demons that us “normal” people do. It took me almost 5 years to be able to tell my husband and now I’m finally getting into therapy to get through it.

  2. Heidi Again you are a really special person To show tell us a personally story like that thank you and I know that we all see ourselves different then others do but I would love to look like you! And can’t wait to be with you both (your family)on this next journey! Smiles & Hugs to all From a mom of three grown girls (26,24and almost 20) And I have a lot of work to do but you are both my inspirations.

  3. Thank you so much!! Your strength is so inspiring. I really LOVE the how you explained when you got pregnant you knew you needed to take care of the little person that was growing inside of you. My little boy Wyatt gave me the strength I needed to keep my diabetes and weight under control for the 8.5 months I carried him. I hope to find that strength again in wanting to give him a sibling. Thank You Again!!!

  4. Hi Heidi, thank you for sharing about your past eating disorder. I struggle with bulimia and none of my friends and family know about it. I love to work out and eat healthy but I binge sometimes and I really want to stop. I am an aerobics instructor and love helping people work out. I get encouragement from watching Extreme Weight Loss and reading articles on yours and Chris’ website. I have so much respect for you for sharing your story. Thanks again

  5. Hi Heidi. I love Chris he is so motivating. I’m overweight need some help. I just can’t stop eating. I’m addicted to food. I’m real sick now would like some helpful tips from u and Chris. Thank u. Gina Saykally

  6. Thank you for sharing. I struggle with binge eating and the more I focus on trying to eat healthy it seems the more I eat worse. I don’t get it 🙁

  7. You two are so cute, and inspirational…but I have to tell you, there have been times I wished I could be bulimic. I tried a couple of times and no matter what I did, I could not make myself throw up. Guess it’s a good thing. I am 50 now, and hate being fat…and hate to do anything about it too. I am still hopeful that one of these days I’ll be thin again. Thanks for all you do.
