Hi Missy: the position has already been filled, but if you’re wanting to lose weight, check out Chris and Heidi’s carb cycling program in their book, “Choose More, Lose More for Life.” It’s a complete nutrition and exercise program, and it’s the same one they use on the show. Learn all about the nutrition basics here: https://heidipowell.net/2713/carb-cycling-101/. 🙂
I’m not sure how I missed this announcement but did you guys hire someone? Is it too late to send in a resume?

I am so excited my friend forward me this link! He actually met you the first time you were in Costco with your family a few months back. I look forward to working with you and serving others…
I applied today & hope that it wasn’t too late. I think I’d be a great fit with your team and hope that you’ll consider me for the position.
Hi My name is Amy Mehr, I am 39 years old and a mother of three very busy kids. Ambry 15, Carder 13, and Kennedy 9. I have been in the fitness industry since 95. I actually use to work at Bally’s with Chris years ago. I trained and taught group fitness classes for over 10 years. In 1998 I started my own swim business through ISR. I worked with ISR for over 10 years. Through a long line of health problems I decided to be a full time stay at home mom. This has allowed me to focus on my own health as well as my children. It was through my own health problems that I developed a passion for not only exercise but healthy organic eating and clean living. I practice hot yoga, hiking, running, lifting weights and playing tennis. Fitness and health is my top priority. I just completed a Ragnar race this year, along with a yoga challenge. People are always asking me for fitness and eating advice. I have mentored several people in my community. I watch your show all the time and feel I could help you reach others. I live in North Phoenix and I am ready to do something outside of the home. Your show inspires me to want to help others.
Heidi & Chris,
Thank you for the opportunity to make a life changing career move and to be part of the Powell Pack. Love your show and all of the hard work and passion you both put into changing lives. Hope to talk to you soon!
Much Love!
Brian Larson
I am local, have writing experience and I am in the training and nutrition field. Resume on the way!!
p.s. I never miss an episode!
I was just telling my husband that my dream job would be to work with the Powell Pak, but if I couldn’t get that it would be just to spend 5 minutes ok maybe 10 ok maybe an hour with Chris and Heidi! Would love to apply, but just wondering if the applicant had to be located in Arizona? I am in Houston, Texas and currently work in the oil and gas industry as a revenue accountant. My fitness journey actually started when I was a kid. I was never extremely overweight, but was enough to where I had many insecurities. I remember crying in the Ross dressing room, because my mother wanted me to fit into a size 8 jeans and I was clearly a size 13. I was only 11. Ask me about any fad diet and I can tell you about it…cabbage soup, tuna, grapefruit, water & air (ok, maybe not that far)! Four years ago, I was put on an international assignment with my job in West Africa. It was a two and a half year assignment and I was stuck in a compound as a female in a male dominated industry with very few young people to hang out with. You had two options…work 24 hours a day or work 12-16 hours a day and drink the rest of the time. I choose to take a different path. I decided to start working out and go running as much I could. I would work out during lunch and after work…I had no idea what I was doing except getting tips from youtube and workout videos. I had never worked out in my life – not even as a child. My parents believed that education was my priority…not getting sweaty and dirty. I put a list of flaws and insecurities that I thought I had and to this day work on them everyday. I met my husband while I was in Africa and we decided to move back to Houston. The first year was tough as Houston has an abundance of wonderful restaurants and we had to adjust to working real jobs (not 28 days on 28 days off). We both gained weight and I could feel all my insecurities come back from when I was a kid. I decided to not allow myself to go backwards and for the past year and a half have really made this a lifestyle…a choice that is made every single day. I’ve kept a journal (now I have 3 volumes) to really track my feelings, my good and bad days, my nutrition…Extreme Weight Loss is mentioned in it a couple of times! Just went on a rant…hope my question gets answered on if the applicant has to be located in Arizona. HA!
OH just read that the ideal applicant is local in Arizona. Oh well…next time!
