  1. #8 i thought I dress up this year and that costume would be awesome , 🙂 we well be out at carnivals this year so not giving out candy this year . We usually take a few candy out and take to our dentist usually have us take it to them or my husband takes them to his work .. Soldiers need candy .

  2. #7, #8, #10 would be the perfect fit for our family costume this year!

To ward off temptation of Halloween candy I will have great snacks ready to go to quickly grab instead of the Halloween candy! Cut up fruit and viggies, homemade nut/fruit bars, hummus and carrots, etc.

  3. 11 would be perfect! We do the teal pumpkin project. My son is gluten soy and casein free so we do not let much of the sweets in the house. And when we do after two days we donate it to the military

  4. My family would love to win #11!! This is what we’re planning on dressing up for Halloween. I have had trouble finding the costumes though! Please choose us! By the way I love your family!

  5. #11 would be perfect for our family. We always make sure to eat our normal meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner + healthy snacks) before candy is allowed. Dinner is such an important part of warding off extra sweets Halloween night. We’ve made it a tradition, so it’s something the kids look forward to. Whether we make spaghetti (and call it spook-ghetti) or a soup of some kind (and call it witches brew) we make sure dinner (and regular meals) are taken care of before trick or treating, or even eating candy received from a school activity, etc. Happy Halloween!!

  6. #6. 🙂 First, we only buy a small amount of candy for Halloween, and we replenish our candy bowl with what our kids bring home (especially whatever they don’t like). Then, we put what’s left into a bowl and put it out of sight and out of reach in the back of the top shelf of the pantry. Then we allow one piece some days after a good dinner. Once the kids start to forget about it (or when another candy holiday comes along), I usually trash what’s left.

  7. #2 I let my kids have a few pieces the first night and then they get one piece a day after that. Usually withing a week or so the novelty has worn off and they forget about it. I just throw it out after that.

  8. #2 please! For the most part we try to keep candy out of our house but when Halloween does roll around we usually allow our children to select 10 pieces they’d like and they can eat them that night or over time until they are gone. When I do buy candy I try to buy dark chocolate as its higher in antioxidants and I feel you are satisfied with less of it then milk chocolate. Everything in moderation! 🙂
