Winners will be chosen randomly and? announced on Sunday, October 18th, right back here in this post. Good luck!!

#11 would be great for our family of 4!
My mother in law always fed her kids a delicious healthy dinner before they went trick or treating and I’ll do the same!
#11
The week of Halloween, go out and buy some foods that you enjoy eating that aren’t jam packed with sugars. For example, when I crave sour candy… I eat half a raw lemon ( I know..some of you are thinking YUCK)..but seriously. Keep healthy things that you actually enjoy around. That way when you get that craving, you’ll have something you like in the house to suppress the urge!
As for handing out candy… we wont be. We got a bowl of little trinkets this year!
I would love #11 for my family. Best tIp I can offer is to hide 80-90% of all the acquired candy. Then they must earn the candy they get to keep. As for the hidden candy? I use it through out the rest of the year as reward treats for my Sunday School Primary class.
Either #8 or #11. I would love to wear the incredibles costume to teach my weightlifting class at the gym! To combat the candy this year we are going to have the kids sell their candy to their dentist. Then they can use the money to buy something fun.
Hello! 🙂 I would love #3 for my son. Would definitely save us money.
As for the candy tip. For me personally, if I see it I eat it. So we don’t buy any early candy in my house. We buy it all on October 31st. Luckily our neighbors take most of it but I definitely pick at the leftovers :).
I wish I could say #11 and get my husband to dress up it would be perfect for our family. SOOOO I’ll just say #8 and dress up with my kiddos!!
As far as warding of the temptation….. We let them pick out a handful of what they like and then it goes into a communial bag and off to my husbands off to share with everyone. I like keeping a piece of gum close by or a glass of water!
#4 and #7 I have two boy’s. ???
Holidays are fun and so are the foods that come with them. Sometimes, it’s best to just give in and enjoy a little fun. We go through and pick out some of our favorites that night and the rest is combined and stored up high. They can have one or two pieces a day depending on what they pick out and their behavior that day. If you take your time to taste and enjoy that first piece of candy, you won’t feel the need to keep eating more, you’ll kick those cravings to the curb.
Would love number 6 for my husband and daughter. It would be nice to get him to dress up.
#11!! My family LOVES the incredibles…my 4 year old daughter arm wrestled he and frozone at Disney this past year! Halloween candy for us gets put in a jar and if they finish a (cross fingers) healthy dinner, the get to chose a treat out of the jar. Plus, my kids are super active which helps as well 🙂
I love number 2 the tootsie roll:). I have a 9 week old and it would be so cute on him. My tip for craving candy is to first try to satisfy your sweet tooth with something healthy like apple slices with pink Himalayan sea salt on top (salt makes apples taste sweeter) and drink a BIG glass of water. If after a few minutes I’m still craving candy then it’s ok to take ONE piece:). Deprivation leads to a negative state of mind about health and wellness which makes people more likely to quit al together.
