Just in time for trick-or-treating, we’re giving away some of our favorite costumes from Halloweens past. Oh…the memories as I look at each of these. I miss my littles being so small, but I know these costumes will go to good use!
Okay, so each costume is shown in the pictures below with a coordinating number. To win:
1. Simply comment with the costume number you would like to win.
2. Post your favorite tip to ward off the temptation for Halloween sweets in the comments below!
Winners will be chosen randomly and? announced on Sunday, October 18th, right back here in this post. Good luck!!
*Apologies in advance, I don’t have exact sizing for these, so hopefully sharing how old my kiddos were when they wore them will give you an idea of sizes!

- Tootsie Roll Costume: Marley wore this for her first Halloween when she was just a couple weeks old!

Our family would love to dress up as the incredibles! One of our favorite movies!
We donate our candy to our dentist office and the kids get paid per pound! The candy gets sent to our men and women stationed over seas!! It’s a win win!!

And family!
What an adorable picture you guys look great. I would love to win this one thanks for the chance and have a nice day.
#10. My special needs son LOVES this movie and would love this costume!
One of my favorite tips to ward of that sweet tooth temptation is to make sure the family has a healthy meal before heading out to fill those bags.
The other thing we do in our house, is everyone gets to pick 5 candies to either eat all at once or save and eat later and the rest get thrown into our own bucket of candy to hand out for the night once we have returned. All the leftovers then get donated to our local charity.
The last tip I love and will implement this year is to allow a healthy, natural sweet treat for the night. Maybe warm apples with cinnamon and honey or something like that. Something that is a “treat” in a healthier form. Plus, that tastes way better than any store bought candy ever could anyway!
#2 is so cute!! I’d love it 🙂
To make sure I stay away from sweets after supper (anytime) I brush my teeth! Works like a charm!
Would love the state costumes for my grandsons and the tootsie roll for the new baby #5or 6 . They would be greatly appreciated this year has been a really hard time for are family. Do to the lose of 3 famky members in over a year and a half. So this will be the fist Halloween with out them …
Number 11 :). We buy candy we don’t like, and limit the kids’ intake… my husband eats most of the good stuff late at night; not a worry for me…haha.
We love doing family themed Halloween costumes. I have 2 boys and 2 girls and we have always wanted to be The Incredibles for Halloween. That would be amazing to win all those outfits. #11 or #6
We have a “great pumpkin” that comes Halloween night. The kids pick out 10 of their favorite candies and put the rest on the porch. The next morning the pumpkin leaves a book or little toy for them.
#4 Pirate Costume…8 year old who like to be a pirate. We went to Disney in September and now that he is home, he would like to be a pirate. Thanks so much. I enjoy eating a low-carb vanilla yogurt mixed with peanut butter or peanut flour, cocoa powder, and low sugar chocolate..peanut butter chocolate yumminess

Hi Heidi! I don’t have little ones anymore at home but I do have a grandson. I use to let my kids eat it in moderation. They really enjoyed passing out the candy more than eating it though. I hope I win my grandson would love the angry bird costume.
