Please! Time to step up the training!
This year i’ll start a baby project. But just before doing that, because i’m scared to hell and because i want to be in the better shape of my life, i want to challenge myself with my 3rd and 4th half marathon (april and September). I’m also doing my first ever spartan race (13+km). This is the most emotional (baby), and most challenging (so much run and lifts) year of my life! I also just finished my master degree, and started to work!
And you guys are hell of an inspiration! Keep going like this.
My husband and I swore off preservatives, GMO’s and anything processed from entering our kitchen this year. It has been the most amazing decision of our lives! (next to getting married) We both feel so much more energized and more motivated to lengthen our daily work outs. I truly believe now “you ARE what you EAT.” And I feel amazing thanks to the clean and real foods diet. Our work outs have become much more intense thanks to such an increase in energy levels. We both can also testify we’ve noticed a more positive spirit in our home. We’re both happier and just have less worries and more focus on helping others to acheive their health goals and any other needs. As I’m sure your family can recognize. Like anything else hard work and sacrifice pays off! I’m so grateful for yours and Chris’ constant inspirational appearances in the media and for keeping your family a top priority. Y’all are the perfect examples this world needs!
My husband and I have a 2.5 year old son who had a stroke around birth. We both like to workout but we were never distance runners. However, our son is the most determined child I have ever met. We were told he would never walk, BUT HE JUST STARTED RUNNING. We will run a half marathon in honor of our hero this year.
This year we hope to start a family. It has been a few months of unsuccessful ?practice? but we are staying positive! As of the first of the year we took our fitness and health to the next level. My husband and I signed up for 7K, cook healthy, track our calorie intake, and have created goals that we track weekly. We have celebrated the milestones together, and have become even stronger! (Body and Mind) This is my husband?s first race. I am so proud! I We are focusing on being as healthy as we can, achieving goals together and keeping faith that we will start our family soon!
As I’m entering my late 20s this year (!) I’m looking at my weaknesses (running being the biggest) and trying to strengthen them. I’ve already participated in my first 5k and would love to have these shoes with me for the warrior dash this spring. New Year = No excuses.
I have been trying to loose weight for 2 years now and i just started working out again and this time I have lost 14lbs so far and I am feeling better everyday. You guys are a great inspiration and I love the show.
After having 3 kids I put me first in regard to my health and fitness. I was at my lowest since having kids (130) until my current job. I’ve let my job take me over physically and mentally and I’ve gone back to my old lazy habits. This year, I’ve committed to a regimen of working out 5-days a week and looking for a new job to foster a more positive, productive me. Almost 2-months in and I’m almost in my size 8’s from a size 10.
This year I started college, which seems like only a mental challenge. But physically it is demanding because I have to fit in study and classwork time which could cut into exercise time. So I have to push myself a little harder and fit in more “small bites” of exercise.
I have been inspired by watching Chris in extreme weight loss. I love what you both do for people. I am not overweight but I do have mobility issues. I recently starting doing crossfit in October and since then I?m addicted. I have completely changed my diet based on Chris?s books. Your family is so inspiring and I wish I could make as much of a difference as you make in people?s lives. After watching you have a a baby and getting back into the gym and competing in a spartan race I have started training. I started training because of you and Chris. I want to show myself that I have the confidence and the strength. I have not always had confidence and since starting crossfit I have started to develop it. ?Slowly? I may not struggle with being overweight but my mobility is something I woke on everyday. Whether I win these shoes or not please know that what you and Chris do for people is so inspiring. You truly push me to be a better person everyday. Spartan race here I come! Thanks Heidi & Chris #PowellReebokGiveaway
