I want to add to my comment. I am currently working on transforming. Went back to college after 10+ years, now it’s time to think about myself. Life likes to throw curve balls, Having a decent pair of shoes to walk with would be phenomenal. If yall give your word on them then I feel they’re probably real well in regards to support.
This year I purchased a treadmill and I’m really committed to starting running again!!! My goal is to run a 5k for the first time this fall!!! These new shoes would work great with my new treadmill!!!!
Would love these for my weight loss journey. Making me the best me. This is my year. Been wanting to try Reeboks as I need a new pair of workout shoes.
These might actually get me moving after our long snowy winter!
I am setting small but incremental goals. These stretch goals are forcing me to get out of my comfort zone and challenge myself. First goal: run a 5k (April). Second goal: 50 mile bike race (June). Third goal: sprint triathlon (August). Each goal is progressively more difficult and I started for zero 4 weeks ago. With each small accomplishment, I gain more confidence to pull me through to the next challenge and show myself I am capable of much more than I ever thought!
I would love to try out these shoes! I’m trying to get healthy this year and I want to participate in an obstacle course race. These would be perfect inspiration to get there!
I would LOVE these shoes!!!! I would say that I NEED them for weightloss, but that wouldn’t be true… I would love them to help me, but I’ve determined in my heart and head that this obese Heather will no longer be obese and unhealthy for myself, my husband and our 3 energetic children!!! We do take them for walks and eat healthy on occasion, but we have just made drastic changes in our house and I’m sooooo excited! We have started clean eating, joined a veggie/fruit co-op, my husband and I have made healthy weight loss goals, and we are joining a gym that has family fitness classes and we will all be attending them 🙂 We have friends that have done a few races, and I wish I could do them with them. My husband and I also agreed come fall, we will both me healthy enough to join them for some races.. Love that you and Chris are helping me and others, God bless you and your family!!!!!
I’m bumping up my workouts from just the normal weights/cardio/kickboxing to the hardcore strength classes. Up at 5 am to make sure I get it in every day. No excuses. Signing up for 10 K as a motivator and reward!
Hello Chris & Heidi! Thank you for being generous and giving us this opportunity. This year I want to challenge myself mentally and physically to complete a half marathon. I have never attempted anything this big physically! Even though it will be a big mountain to climb it is necessary for me to set a goal because it pushes me. I have chronic back pain with bulging discs. This has been a major factor in my weight gain. I have realized that I may always have this condition and I need to do my part to get the weight off (50lbs at least). My husband and I have identical twin sons that are Seniors in High School that play soccer. Our son Tristan has really been pushing his Dad and I to get healthy. He even gives us a 20 minute countdown to our walk/run for the evening lol! They are truly my heart<3. Myself, my children and my extended family are the reasons I need to be challenged to work toward my goal. Thank you for listening to my story. I admire the two of you in so many ways:-).
I need to add to my post… What I am doing to reach my goal is walking (depending on my schedule) 1 to 4 miles a day and I am in the process of fixing my bicycle so I can ride it in conjunction with walking and exercises at home. While a gym membership isn’t possible… I live in Arizona – God’s own amazing gym!! While my youngest daughters health continues to decline (she is 20) I need to get myself healthy again so I can take care of her and start a new career (need to be healthy and in shape)! Life threw me a barge full of lemons and I am in the process of making the most amazing lemonade!
