  1. This year, this 55 year old mother of the bride is competing in her 4th Warrior Dash in memory of my late husband. He waa a runner and the last competive run he did was the 2010 NY Warrior Dash. He loved it so much he signed up the the next one immediately. Unfortunately, he had a fatal heart attach while running three weeks later. I took his spot and as out of shape as I was, I completed the 2011 dash, and has done it every year since. This year’s dash is three weeks after our daughter’s wedding. She, her new husband and several other family members are also running. This year, however, I will be a bit lighter and would love those shoes to compete in.

  2. This year I am turning the Big 40. I decided to challenge myself to be Fit and Fabulous by Forty! (which is Aug 6th). I began to work out with a trainer, been eating a clean diet and have been reading my daily devotional to keep me motivated, inspired and most importantly to help me grow spiritually and teach me that I need to eat to live and not live to eat. It’s a hard lesson to learn, but to date I have lost 16.8 lbs and 22″. I have about another 20 lbs to lose but my attitude has completely changed and my way of thinking has changed for the better. I am becoming more confident and can almost say that I do not have to ride this rollercoaster anymore. Thanks for all of your inspiration Chris and for your wife too. Keep it up and so will I! 🙂

  3. I’m an obese diabetic 61yr.old woman that went through and beat liver desease recently.Having diabetes2 andhigh blood pressure, heart desease.allof which will change if I can just lose weight.all medications makes drousy.I need all the help I can get,I gained alot of fat with the liver fight.i need to lose 100lbs.easy.Those shoes are the best to protect my feet,it would be a godsend for me to be blessed with a pair of those Rebocs.#PowellReebokGiveaway…my need to do thing is to become a walker for my life….

  4. This year I am going to challenge myself to complete a trifecta spartan race set. I am not a runner, i am not an athelete but I am willing to push my body as far as it can go, and use these races to push myself and get in shape and drop the lbs so i can be spartan strong.

  5. I’ll graduate the RN program in May of this year!!! On top of being a full time commuting student, mom, and wide, I’ve lost 60+ pounds this past year! It’s very difficult to manage my time effectively, and I also fractured my tibia over the summer, so I’ve had a lot of obstacles to overcome! I’m looking forward to doing some races and competitions this summer and these shoes would help tremendously!

  6. These would be amazing for my attempt to double trifecta this year!! Last year 8 half marathons and a Spartan trifecta, going to up the anti this year. I want my daughters to look at me and see a healthy, happy, accomplished mom and I am having a blast doing it. 🙂

  7. Now I like to challenge myself by motivating people to get back in shape and start living healthier lives. My goal is to change one per lives day by taking the steps to become healthier. Chris and heidi Powell are my motivation. Any health or fitness idea I comes up I stop and think and make sure it would measure up to the standards you set. That how I was able to drop my body fat from 40% to 15% in 1yr

  8. I am the first child of my family to go to college. It was terrifying to me but, it has been worth it all. I am currently 2 weeks away from becoming a personal trainer. Why I chose this is to inspire people to find there inner strength and to be Healthy. I helped my father lose 50 pounds and saw such a joy come out of his life. That’s what inspired me to go to college for a personal trainer. My challenge for myself this year is to sign up for crossfit. I have such a fear of failing but you and your husband have inspired me to face my fears. I’m hear to save the lives of the depressed and fearful. I have a heart and love for those who struggle with being over weight. I myself had a challenge with it. I was one to never be able to lose more then 5 pounds. That’s not issue anymore. I am happy to say I have lost 30 pounds and still working on 20 more. I want to one day inspire my children as well to be healthy and strong.

  9. This year I made my resolution and have stuck with it! I have been weight training and training to run a 5k. I am planning on doing a mud dash this September and these shoes would be incredible. It’s my time to get healthy and be happy at what looks back at me in the mirror.

  10. I’m testing my mental and physical capacity in a few ways. First I’m eating whole foods – nothing processed. I’m doing this for my health and well being. I’ve come a LONG way in the past year and as of Feb 25, 2013, I’ve lost 64 pounds and feel better than I have felt in YEARS. I’m also participating in 5k’s – I have a goal of 2 per month. I’m doing this for both my health(training) AND to have a sense of accomplishment. I’ll never win…but I’m a winner for participating!
