I am hitting my goal weight in the year 2014 🙂 Down from 220lbs to 150 now. Shooting for a healthy 125lbs with 15% body fat 🙂
Well I just turned 37 a few days ago. Over the past year I’ve lost close to 70 lbs. I have four kids and want to be fit. Last year I pushed myself to really get out there and be more active. This year I want to push further and lose another 70lbs. I want to participate in a couple of 5k races too. I’ve learned that I’ve got to do this for myself cause no ones going to do it for me.
For the last 2 years I’ve struggled with an eating disorder. My behaviors and fluctuating weight had begun to wreak havoc on my body when I decided I’d had enough. At 19 years old, I want to live my life to the fullest. It’s a constant battle, but I’m using fitness to get back in tune with by body and the world around me. I do yoga, hike, and run. I have a Grand Canyon hiking trip planned for April and I’m very excited to use my healthy body to see havasupai falls.
Star training to get healthy… to be a beautiful old lady… 🙂 my aunt just die from cancer so I decide to take care of me… my body… so go go go! I can do it! 🙂
#PowellReebokGiveaway I am a 57 year old man, been working on getting back into shape for the last 4 years. I have reached my goals, but now shooting to do my first muscle up, 10 yard handstand walk, more than 10 double unders… in a row, and my first obstacle race. would love to have new Reebok All-Terrain Shoe to help me out. Thanks, Roy
My daughter is hearing impaired. this year I’m testing myself to raise awareness by participating in multiple races, and I will be getting my first spartan trifecta to help raise awareness for hearing loss with children.
Growing up I was very active, and played for the British Columbia Rugby Team in 2008 at Canadian Nationals in Ottawa, where we placed second. Shortly after, I went to univeristy and over a short four years, I have gained about 50lbs. I have decided to take my fitness back, and this year I am completing a Spartan Trifecta, and plan on completing the 5k, 12k, and the 20k! I have been training hard and my inner athlete is coming out quickly and its such an awesome feeling! I am excited for this year and all the adventures I am going to have, both mentally and phsyically!
I am so thankful and blessed to be physically able to push mysel to achieve different fitness goals. I believe being a gymnast for many years inspired my desire to want to try and achieve new things. Currently I am working towards attaining a new fitness goal by 30. I love helping and encouraging others to reach their goals. I want my daughter to grow to love fitness and appreciate that hard work can be fun too. I would make sure to put these shoes to good use!
This year my theme word is ‘brave.’ I would not allow myself to be talked into doing Tough Mudder last year and swore (several times w/offerings to the swear jar)that I would *not* enter the event this year, either. Imagine my surprise when I registered myself for this years TM!?! I am brave. I am tough. I am not currently either of those but I am a wonderful work in progress and down 15lb since making the decision to be brave. I would appreciate the new shoes as reinforcement of my 2014 Word of the Year: Brave. Competing in Tought Mudder, yep, that’s what brave people do.
Strengthening my core! Since I had my 3rd and final child 10 months ago it has been difficult to see the results i want to see in that area. I workout regularly but want to focus more intently on my core.
