  1. This past two years I been trying to have another baby but when I got the news from my doctors I can’t have anymore kids due to my weight (189) I have made it my goal to lose a healthy amount of weight so I can make my daughter and my husbands dream come true and that’s another baby. It’s been hard difficult emotional ride for all three of us. I recently signed up for the gym but the motivation and energy is the part I’m scared of cause it’s hard to gain all that.

  2. Good morning Heidi. Let me first start off by saying how inspiring you and your husband are to my family. I began the journey to better health and fitness in July 2013. To date I have lost over 40 pounds. My 2014 goal is to run in my first 5K. I have registered for the Color Run in April. I believe that this will provide the challenge I need to keep moving forward. I have found a new love for running and these sneakers are just what I need to keep moving. I love that they are good on all terrains as I often run trails as well as treadmill. All women adore new shoes 🙂 Thanks for all that you both do to inspire me and my family everyday.

  3. I am increasing weight training and fighting the good fight against 33 years of eating too much sugar. I’m not what people would consider “overweight”; however, I’ve still never had the body I ultimately want. Taking my body from a slim/average build to lean/tone is tricky and will obviously take more than simply cutting calories. But, I’m determined to figure it out. I’m doing this for me and because I have never believed in myself enough to think that I could really do it. I so appreciate the free education I get from people like you and Chris! xo

  4. I have always been a active person that has loved to work out. Last March I started CrossFit and fell in love with it! In July I found out I was pregnant and fully intended to continue CrossFit but 7 weeks into my pregnancy I began to have complications. Long story short, I almost died. I was internally bleeding and my hemoglobin levels got dangerously low (3.5). I had to get blood and plasma transfusions. My Doctor says I am a miracle and believes that being as physically fit as I was at the time was a huge factor in saving my life! I have a husband and 3 children that still need me! I am now more than ever determined to keep pushing myself in CrossFit and would love to run my first Spartan race this summer on the anniversary of beating death and to honor the sweet baby I have waiting for me in heaven! God saved my life that night for many reasons and I am determined to not waste one moment of it!

  5. This year I’m embarking on a long journey to lose baby weight that I gained during pregnancy. It’s going to be a tough at times and definitely a long road, but with the help of Heidi and Chris, I know I can do it. I’m also going to start running for the first time so that’s exciting!

  6. In the past year I have lost 108 pounds. I am still struggling with getting to know this new person. It took me 3 months to talk myself into taking the Boot camp class at my gym. I now attend class twice a week. Now I am trying to get past other obstacles that I others tell me I can do these things but still have this fear of and question my abilities. I need to try to get past these. I have been invited to join a Tough Mudder with my boot Camp class but question my abilities.

  7. This year I am running in the Nike Women’s 1/2 Marathon in DC. I really want to get myself back into shape and prove to myself that if I put my mind to something, I can do it. I start nursing school a month after the 1/2 marathon and I think it will give me that boost of confidence I need. I would also love to be in good enough shape it participate in a spartan run. It would make me feel unstoppable!
