A month ago I was faced with a decision; let pain rule my world or be in control of the pain. I have a severe circulation issue that makes even walking a challenge. I have been active my entire life until the last year. My doctors tell me there’s little to be done to help except attempt to exercise. My two year old little girl asks me why I am always lying down…. That made my decision an easy one. I joined Heidi and Chris’ dietbet challenge and started to do P90x3 as a way to kick my a** back into gear. Yeah it hurts and I want to cry… A lot! But when I ask my daughter if she wants to exercise with me she smiles at me and runs to get my worn out sneakers. I am inspiring my daughter just like you two have inspired me!
#powellreebokgiveaway. I think I would be s great choice to give these snazzy new sneaks because, as a Mother of a 2 & 4 year old girls I joined Crossfit to become the role model these little girls need!! The 4 year old is now a Crossfit kid and loves working on her muscles lie mom! I would be beyond exstatic to keep ony healthy life journey in these sneakers!
This year I have decided to make my life my own. I have quit smoking and have started a healthy life over haul. I have started with a trainer to lose over 110lbs. I want to be able to enjoy living. I love to hike and camp but with the extra weight it gets difficult. I also enjoy doing runs. Even being big I participated in the warrior dash and was proud of myself for being able to complete it. I’m going to get out of my own way and succeed in what I keep putting off, being free.
I am doing my first Ironman in September. 2 years ago I was 30 pounds heavier and never ran a single day in my life. Now I’m almost 23 and have run 4 full marathons and 4 1/2 marathons. I am doing the Spartan Race with family and friends in September and would love the opportunity to use these on race day.
AndThese Shoes Look Awesome!
I Just Recently Moved To Arizona From Missouri, In Mo. I Had A Very Active Lifestyle, I’ve Lost That Since I’ve Moved But I’m Ready To Find Some Intense And Beautiful Hiking Trails Up In These Mountains. I’m Ready To Get Myself Conditioned And Fit Once Again. These Shoes Would Definitely Motivate Me And Help Me Out On The Rocky And Steep Places. Looks Like They Have Solid Traction. I Would Love To Try These Babies Out!
My youngest of five children just turned a year old. Before he was born, I use to work out daily to my home videos. Well life is much busier now and I can’t seem to find the time to do it anymore. Instead of beating myself up, feeling like a failure because I can’t fit it in, I have decided this year to let go and let God! Not only do I feed myself physically but I feed myself spiritually! Food for my body, and his word for my soul! Now instead of focusing on myself, I find time for physical Fitness with my children even if its only 10 minutes intervals. I may go for a bike ride, go on a hike, sports, chase, or even superman with them flying on my feet is a great leg workout! I will even do a wall squat or calf workout while blow drying my hair and a squat between each article of clothing I throw into the washer! The whole reason for doing it this way is to come up with ideas creating more fun, exercise, and memories with my children! When I choose to let go and let God, I don’t worry about tomorrow, I just rely on God today!
I smoking on dec 31 after smoking since i was 13 yrs old and im now 30. I changed the way i eat and have been excercising everyday. I have lost 19 lbs so far! My workout shoes have holes in them and are not very comfortable so a new pair would really help. Im also training for my first 5k called the color run!
My son was born this past June and I’ve lost 20 lbs so far by training and running my first half marathon in November. My goal was to just finish the half marathon so this spring I plan to push even harder and do another half marathon with a great time as my goal. I’m also planning for a full marathon this fall! With this new journey of running I have removed soda and processed food from my life and included more whole foods and the difference really is amazing. Not only has it helped with weight loss, but how I feel is unbelievable!
These shoes look awesome; I would love to win a pair!! This year, as with every year, I am trying to better my life all around. I have started eating clean and working out (almost) daily. In addition to applying for nursing school, I am taking a few nutrition classes to improve my overall knowledge about living a healthy life. By the end of the calendar year my husband and I hope to compete in five 5k races, three 10k races and one half marathon! I follow both you and Chris on Facebook and truly enjoy your daily inspirational posts and encouragement!! Thank you so much for this opportunity!!
I would love to win a pair. I have recently decided to get serious about my health and fitness. I have done Warrior Dash, and mud runs in the past. I signed up for my first half marathon this year. It will be in November. I was on a great start hoping to complete multiple races this year.
Training started out great and then my knee botherede again. It has been an ongoing battle. Long story short, my knee was torn I had surgery on it on Wed and I am not going to let it keeps from competing. I am going to heel and keep going. Now that I am healthy there is nothing keeping me back. I am still looking forward to 2014 to be a healthier better me.
