  1. I had my third baby in December, and was already overweight. Since having her I have lost 48lbs. I am training for a half marathon this year and a triathlon and the dirty girl race. My husband and I have changed our earing habits, and joined anytime fitness, I am now a huge Zumba junkie. I watch Chris’ show all the time to see get inspiration !

  2. This year is the year for me! I have been a runner for the past 10 years. In that time I’ve completed two half marathons and plenty of 5 and 10 k. As well as a few 100 km bike rides for MS. Now I am focusing on my first triathlon! Training for a half marathon was mentally challenging so I am prepared (a little anxious) about training for three disciplines at once! At 47 I’m looking forward to is challenge as I just learned how to swim is past fall! Bring it on 2014!!

  3. I will be starting my life over after a difficult time. Hiking has always been big for my kids and myself but I want to start running also. I haven’t had a new pair of shoes in 5 years. I found out my husband had been molesting our daughter and now that things have settled for us it’s time to focus on me my health. I’m all they have now, I need to be around for a long time for them.

  4. I have gained a lot of weight over the last 2 years. I gave birth to my son then went back to my desk job. Months went by and the size of my clothes went up. We just did a family photo for my grabdnother’s birthday and I realized how truly “bad” it had gotten. After starting a new job with some spectacular ladies I started eating better and even signed up for my first 5k in April. I am getting myself mentally prepared to start a healthier life and with mental comes physical. Good luck to all who have chosen the healthy life.

  5. I had to give up long distance running when I injured my back during a race. I gained weight after I stopped running. I’m working on losing the weight (12 pounds down) and focusing on strength training. I want to be fit, strong and healthy. We have places to trail hike and the shoes would be great for that.

  6. One thing I am doing to test myself is that I am training for my first half marathon. I began running 6 months ago. I couldn’t even go a mile. I struggle with chronic pain from my rheumatoid arthritis. I don’t want pain controlling my life so I began this journey to do a half marathon and hoping to add 2 more beyond it this year. I’m hoping this teaches my kids as well, that you can do anything you set your mind to.

  7. I would LOVE to win a pair for my husband. He’s been running 5 & 10k’s for a few years but come March 23rd, he’ll be running his first marathon here in Atlanta. I can’t wait, I love attending races. This year as part of my New Year Resolution I will be participating in 3 5k’s. It’s a start for me since I had to relearn how to walk again as an adult due to Guillian Barre.
