I am very obese and have decided this is MY year. I signed up for a 5k and have just started the Couch to 5K program to get ready. I have a spouse and 2 babies plus myself that I need to get healthy for!!!
I have just finally realized, after 15 years (that’s when I actually stopped working out 6 days a week and life took over), that no one is going to help me lose 100 lbs and it’s not going to magically disappear. I need to kick my own ass already. So I don’t have a special story…I just need to save my own life.
I am avoiding weight loss surgery and working out a little each day. Just had my 2nd baby via c section and everything feels different in my body.
Everyone has a story, everyone has an excuse, I even tried to contact Mr. Powell for help, but could never find a direct way to leave a message for him personally and still can’t. I just wanted one conversation with a person who my husband felt could help him and I was willing to do anything I could to make that happen for my husband. Unfortunately you never responded no matter what comment I said, no matter how much I poured out my heart to the who world because that was the only way I could leave a message. I know and realize this is your job and this is how you support your family, but I was fighting for my husbands life and he thought and felt he needed you, Mr. Powell to change his life. Since I never made contact, he lost hope in you and started on his own believing in himself, eating healthy, and working out. He has lost a total of 185 pounds to date and is still going. It is and has been a lifestyle change. As a result these shoes would really reinforce and remind him of where he has been and where he will be going. The new him has had so many positive, successful experiences and will continue to do so for years to come. Thank you!!
In December 2013 after Christmas I decided to start my weight loss journey. I purchased The Seven Day Carb Cycle Solution and have stuck with the program. Since December 26th I have lost I have lost 23 pounds. I feel better and plan to stick with this program for the rest of my life. Thank you both for all you do to help others reach their weight loss goals. The show has encouraged me to take on a new life style. Healthy food choices and exercise are now a part of my daily routine. Today my husband and I walked an 8 mile trail. These shoes would have come in handy! 😉
I am going to get up and move this year. I would like to try a 5k again. A good pair of shoes sure would help.
The hubs and I are working on losing weight and becoming healthier this year. We are waiting for the warmer weather in Chicago to start walking again. The Puppy is ready to go for walks too!
For the past 6 months I have been having all kinds of problems with my MS. I have decided its time to get back to working out on a regular basis, hoping this will help increase my flexibility ands tease my muscle strength. New pair of shoes would be great in helping to meet my goals this year.
I am doing the crossfit open in 6 days. Yikes!!!
I struggle juggeling a full time job and three kiddos… running is my stress relief. I even hit the roads some days on my lunch breaks. Would love to win a new pair of these amazing shoes. My husband has never been a runner but I have him convinced to train for a 5 k with me. My goal is to run at least 3 times a week and get my whole family hiking on weekends when the weather gets warmer(from Pa). thanks for all your motivation!
