I have made a commitment to myself to get healthier mentally, physically, and emotionally. Since January 1st I have been taking those needed steps through counseling, group workshops/sessions and working out daily. I have lost 24 lbs and preparing to do my first 5Ks. So I’m sticking to my commitment! Maybe in the future I’ll do a Spartan Race!
I started training almost two years ago. Last year I completed every goal I srt. In addition to my weight goals, my running goals are to beat last years times. This can be taxing bothe physically and mentally. But I am up for the challenge.
Like anyone who makes fitness a priority, I’m always looking for ways to stay motivated. This year I’ve added a dog to the family to help keep me active. In a few months when she is old enough we are going to transition from walks to her joining me on my runs. What better motivation than to have a cute running buddy! Can’t wait to hit the trails with her!
This new year is all about setting and sticking with goals that I set for myself. Growing up, staying fit was easy for me. I ate whatever I wanted without issue, although I was pretty active. Now at 33 and after two kids things just aren’t the same! I’ve put on 80lbs and slowed down my activities. But like I said this year is about making and attaining my fitness goals and getting my life back. I’m watching what I eat and doing a minimum of 45 minutes of brisk walking a day. Everyday gets easier and I go farther! Thanks for inspiring me to get out and do more!
I would love to go farther in some snazzy new kicks! You guys inspired me to Gerry up on the
I had a stroke 10 years ago and am overweight and take and
take alot of medication. I am walking every 5K and am going to run in at least
one. I bought a vitamix so I can homemakers my food. I’m 57 and this
Is a real challenge.
Its all about me this year! Becoming a healthier person in 2014. I have just started out running and I am getting a lot of encouraging thoughts and motivation since I have started. I have noticed a lot more energy especially when taking care of my eight kids. I love what I am becoming. A healthier mind and body! Ibam looking forward to running a half marathon later in the year with some 5k’s thrown in as well!
These Reeboks look like the perfect pair of shoes for working out outdoors in Colorado’s varied terrain. I need these shoes!
Well I am entering my JR year of college. I am a college athlete up in portland oregon. My current major is nutrition. I am working to better my body while at the gym, hiking, and yoga. I also have completely altered my eating habits. My body and well being are my upmost focus for 2014. 2014 is about making myself better.
Entered my second mud run and signed up for a bunch of 5ks. I’m down 73 lbs and continuing my quest for health. And I’m turning 51 in April 🙂
Like many moms, I have put my husband and children first.
This year I have challenged myself to make my health
a priority. I need to loose 50 pounds. I have recently
Joined a gym with my husband so we can encourage each
Other. I would love the shoes to help me put one foot infront of the other.
This journey won’t be easy but I am ready to get moving.
