I’ve decided the year 2014 would be to focus on my health, I was diagnosed with diabetes at age 23 and had a heart attack at age 29. I was able to save enough money to purchase this amazing device from Medtronic called an insulin pump, I’ve had it for 3 weeks and works wonders, I’ve also started counting and watching my carb intack. Love Chris’ s posts for inspiration and Heidi’s health recipes.
One thing I am doing this year to test my mental and physical capacity is shifting the mindset of my workout’s to focusing on building my inner strength, creating a healthy mind and body, and defining myself through my positive thoughts while working out. In this process, I’ve noticed my self-compassion and love has bloomed! I am doing this because before, the intention of my workouts was to lose weight, and now it feels much better to work out knowing I am doing it because I want to create a healthy body, mind, and spirit! This takes great self commitment, love, and strength!
Need a new pair of running shoes. Mine are over a year old. Thank toy for the opportunity
The Paralympics… plain and simple
These shoes look amazing. My wife and I are excited for this year. We have both decided to make a change and get fit together. We are going to be signing up for a few running events including a color run and hopefully a 5k. Lolling forward to a fit and happy life.
I want these shoes!
The “empty nest syndrome” hit me hard last year, I was very depressed, and sad. I turned to food for comfort and gained 25 pounds. In January I realized enough is enough, it’s time to take control of my life and health. I began eating clean, exercising, and put myself first in regards to my health and fitness. I ran a 5K in November, and I’m running a Color Run in May. It’s been a difficult journey at times, but I’m proud to say I am half way to my goal of losing 25 pounds! I will succeed!
Hi y’all!! I would love love those shoes, my husband and I am doing OUR VERY FIRST tough mudder in June and I’m so excited. We live a healthy life style with our two year old little girl and started getting into crossfit this past year. I am a full time xray tech and mommy so a free pair of amazing shoes would rock my socks LITERALLY! Love you guys!
I’ve been saying this year after year, “I’m going to lose weight and be more active. Every year has been a failed attempt. This year I’ve changed my attitude and habits. With four grown kids and a husband who stays fit, I finally said it’s my turn to focus on me. I will be turning 40 this year and want to see how much my body can take. Everyday I feel stronger, healthier and happier.
I’ve heard these are great shoes for Plantar Fasicitis “spelling questionable”. I have this foot problem and have struggled to find that shoe that doesn’t hurt my foot. Should I try this shoe?
