  1. After losing 40lbs in the last few months, I’ve set a goal of running at least one obstacle course race. The one I have my eye on is May 24th, Mud Guts and Glory. I imagine that I’ll get at least one more in this year in addition to several other races.

  2. Hi I’ve been so inspired by your husbands show the way he helps so many people to help our selfs. I was to imbarsed to ask for help with my weight and when I got pregnant I got even worse due to complication. Thanks to my son who is my new inspiration I got motivation and got off my ass and into the gym. I’ve already lost 84 lbs and I’m still going strong. I had two set backs this last week a kidney infection and Plantar fasciitis. My feet hurt so much I can’t run even just to stand right now is hard. What advise can you suggest to get rid of it and how do I avoided getting it again. I want to loose another 30lbs and do my first tough muddier in whistler BC this summer and I dont want anything holding me down please help. Thanks nikki

  3. In 2005, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I am 33 now and I am always so tired and fatigued. Recently, I started exercising and even running. I will be competing in The Corporate Challenge again this June (for the 3rd time) and I will be running this year! These sneakers are something I would never have the money to buy myself (money is tight with a hubby and 2 kids under 6). These would be perfect for my new healthy lifestyle. Please pick me!

  4. Last year I started to work out in April, I have lost 60 lbs so far. I still have got a lot to lose but I plan on hiking up Mt Monandnock on my 58th birthday in June. I have never done anything like that in my life. I now eat healthy, work out with a trainer twice a week and do some form of cardio everyday. A real change for me. If you ever come to the Boston area, would love to meet you!

  5. I will be going to school for a degree in respiratory therapy. Being 44 years old, this will definately test my mental capacities. After a major life change about 2 years ago, I feel I need to get out there and really help people. I have been participating in CrossFit for the past year, and plan on registering for the Open. I have found through CrossFit how to really challenge not only my physical, but mental capacities, and I feel it is really preparing me for school. And I just love mud runs!

  6. I smoked for years and have quit now for over two years. I started CrossFit last May and have ran my first 5K, 8k, and want to keep going! I want to keep running, my goal is to partake in a Spartan 8k race THIS year! I would love to do this with a pair of shoes on my feet gifted by such inspirational people! Thank you, Cas

  7. I would love a new pair of Reebok, I had to just toss my last pair due to so many holes. I love walking and especially with my Boston Terrier!

  8. This year is the year for change, not only mentally but physically! As we want to grow our family, I have realized that I need to shed this weight; being in the high 200’s is not an easy lifestyle to live everyday. What a good way to start losing weight.. By winning a new pair of shoes!! Thank you to both Heidi and Chris for your inspiration through books, internet and ABC for your encouragement and support to those of us who struggle. It means the world!
