  1. One thing I am doing this year that will test my mental and physical capacity is- having a baby in July- so I will be doing what it takes to carry this little love to term and naturally deliver a healthy new baby! 🙂

  2. This year I’m going to try to complete a sprint, super and beast spartan race. My first spartan race is in 2 weeks. I’m nervous about the race because I couldn’t train like I would of like, I broke my rib cage last year and just finishing healing from it about a month ago. But I still gonna do my sprint even if it means a lot of burpees.

  3. Last year was my first year if being a group fitness instructor and in one year I became certified in 3 formats of Les Mills and for being a rookie, I’m pretty good! 🙂 It took me to the age of 30 to find this thing that I am really good at.
So this year I will push myself to become a National Trainer for Les Mills. I WILL BE the role model athlete for not only participants and instructors, and be BE THE eloquent coach that delivers a fitness EXPERIANCE!

  4. I just discovered both of you at the end of last year and since then you have been my motivation to get fit and healthy! I have tried two 5k runs last year for the first time and it was tough I wasn’t In shape or anything but tried! This year I’ve been trying really hard to stick to my healthy eating habits and working out I signed up for another 5k run this may and I’m hoping to get in shape and lose weight to do a warrior dash with my boyfriend I told him I hope that could be us holding hands jumping over a fire.#PowellReebokGiveaway

  5. Most people are motivated to look good in dresses or bathing suits. Mmmm…I can’t say that I am. What motivates me to stick to clean eating and Crossfit are mud races. In particular spartan races, because if you don’t keep up with your workouts or diet, you will not make it over the walls or past most obstacles. Failure to complete an obstacle gifts you burpees. (Who likes burpees?!) see where I’m going here? My dad passed away a month ago and I lost all motivation and gained 15lbs. I didn’t cry because I have been doing enough of that. Instead I signed up for the June tri-state spartan sprint. Im finding it to be overwhelming and extremely challenging to get back into my routine. I’m praying for the power of the Spartans to get me through this hard time. In the hospital when I realized what was about to happen I paused and said 3..2..1 go. This year I will get the real me back.

  6. Hello Chris & Heidi,
I have been inspired by watching Chris in extreme weight loss. I love what you both do for people. I am not overweight but I do have mobility issues. I recently starting doing crossfit in October and since then I’m addicted. I have completely changed my diet based on Chris’s books. Your family is so inspiring and I wish I could make as much of a difference as you make in people’s lives. After watching you have a a baby and getting back into the gym and competing in a spartan race I have started training. I started training because of you and Chris. I want to show myself that I have the confidence and the strength. I have not always had confidence and since starting crossfit I have started to develop it. “Slowly” I may not struggle with being overweight but my mobility is something I woke on everyday. Whether I win these shoes or not please know that what you and Chris do for people is so inspiring. You truly push me to be a better person everyday. Thanks Heidi & Chris

  7. I am a single mom that for the last 18 years has out my daughters needs above my own. She graduates high school in a few months and is college bound and for the first time in 18 years I find myself about to be alone. I gave up my social and dating life for her because I was so scared of the affects of me dating to find the “one” would have in her and now I am a overweight woman with no future unless I change my ways. They say the first step is actually taking a step in the right direction. I have no idea which way that is but I’m willing to go at it any way I can to regain some type of quality of life. I use to be healthy, active and always on the go and I want to be that person again! #PowellReebokGiveaway

  8. Hi Heidi you and Chris are wonderful inspirations to alot of people. I love The Extreme Weight Loss show and looking forward to the new season. !

  9. I started my journey in 2012. I did a couch to 5k program and completed two 5k’s. Shortly after I had to have foot surgery. I have since recovered and I am going to run a 5k on March 16th! I do this for my family and my mom. We lost my brother two years ago to amyloidosis
and my dad at 59 to heart disease. I will succeed!

  10. This new year I decided to test my mental and physical capabilities by dedicating myself to becoming one of the best and hopefully youngest cross fit competitors in Miami. I knew if I wanted to achieve greatness in all areas of my life, the physical being just one of them, it would require me to set a goal to strive for that scared me and excites me at the same time. My reason for doing this is simple. I want to be the best I can me and motivate other to do the same but my WHY is my beautiful mother.
