  1. I am 47 years old and after too many years of to little activity I have decided to take back my life and become the athlete I once was many years ago. I am using the Bode product and have started exercising again. I have lost 25 pounds since December 2013 and have registered for my first Spartan Race in Colorado on May 3rd. I would love to wear a pair of these awesome shoes will participating in the Military Sprint Race on Fort Carson. Thanks for all you both do for others. #PowellReebokGiveaway
    Thanks, Matt

  2. I have been doing Curves for a few years, and last year I started Zumba, this year, I am adding the Jillian Michaels to the work out, so I will be alternating Curves, Zumba, and Jillian Michaels, for a total of 6 days a week. I have to change up my workout, I have lost 50 lbs, and have 150 more to lose. I need to make sure I am pushing my self, to get fit and lose weight.

  3. My wife and I are looking at doing the 20km tough mudder New Zealand! We met you guys when you were here at iron man, & It would be super awesome to try these shoes out! They look amazing!
    You guys rock!

  4. Over the past three months, after reading Chris’ 2nd book, I was able to make my weight-loss/healthy lifestyle switch more than just a dream. I had spent the previous few months saying that I wanted to be healthy, but never found a plan that was something I could stick to. I gave myself the goal of April 5th (Super Spartan) to have, not only the weight lost, but be in physical and mental shape. I was stagnant around 210 lbs (I’m 6ft tall). After reading Chris’ book, determining the Turbo cycle was not only doable, but necessary, I’ve managed to make it my lifestyle. I now eat healthier, park further away from anywhere, and workout daily. My body transformation is not just about weight loss, but about how much my mentality changed. Before, I was not in shape to run more than 20 minutes of HIIT or for endurance. Now, I feel lazy if I don’t run 6-10 miles per day. Between 12/1/13 and 2/1/14, I went from 210lbs, 28 BMI, and nearly 25% body fat down to 160 lbs, 22 BMI, and 16.4% body fat. In the past three weeks, I used to struggle running Dirty two-thirties and Nasty nineties…now, I am able to run 12 miles in 2 hours, and still lift weights in the same day! It feels good to look at myself in the mirror and no longer hate what shape my body was in. Before, my goal was to “finish” the Super Spartan. Now, I am aiming for a Beast-qualifying spot. Also, I want to see the definition in my muscles when I take my shirt off at the pool this summer. Achievable goals that force me to work hard – now that the diet portion is figured out for me (2 LC, 1 HC), I can focus on shaping my body. Thank you, Powell’s for inspiration and support!! If I win the shoes, know they’ll be put to the test on April 5th!!

  5. This year I?ve decided to put my excuses aside and start entering 5ks. I have quite a few on my calendar and I?m ready to rock this year and get stronger. I?ve always told myself I can?t do it, because of my asthma or back surgery. That?s not holding me back anymore. I have goals that I am ready to reach! I’ve been searching for a good pair of shoes so I would love to try these. I have the Tough Mudder and Warrior dash that I am most excited about!

  6. My goal this year is to do things outside the box and not make fitness “cookie cutter”. Last year I did a mud run & this year I’m going to own that course and got family to sign up with me. I need to look for the opportunity to get out, smell fresh air and make everything possible no matter what!

  7. Hi!! I joined a challenge at our local ymca on 1/6, plus your dietbet. Today was the last day of the drop 2. I lost 18lbs and I’ve met my goal for the dietbet. I never completed any challenge EVER. I work out with a trainer 2x/week, plus do two additional classes. I’m being pushed beyond my limit. If it weren’t for your show, I don’t think I’d have the courage to try. In 7 weeks, I’ve noticed soooo many improvements! I have a long way to go to my goal. I’m not giving up this time!

  8. I am completing the “trifecta” a three race endurance challenge, by myself. Which is a HUGE deal because I’m such a shy person, my husband is currently deployed and I have never done off road races like these, let alone with out him and I wanted to try and get over that anxiousness because I was missing out. I also wanted to test myself because I have a mild degree of cerebral palsy and was always told I could never do these kind of activities. I completed the extreme endurance 10k and I have an engineer 5 mile and MARSOC mud run left to do, so these shoes would be a blessing, really.

  9. Last year was very rough for me. I lost my job of 12 years & being a single mom of 2 kids & no job. I had to figure out to survive on less money & still raise my kids. I gained 25 lbs. So the Last few months I’ve been walking, riding a bicycle & trying to get back into shape. I made a commitment to myself and my kids that I will become healthy this year. So winning a pair of shoes would be a blessing!
