Any idea how to convert this recipe to Stevia? That much honey is just WAY too much sugar and calories for me. I’d be fine cutting it in half and replacing half with a different sweetener… any ideas?
Hi Kelly: I’m not sure how to replace the honey with stevia. You might be able to find the answer through a browser search. 🙂
Hi,
As I am not american, I would like to know, 1 1/4 cup means 1+1/4 or 1x 1/4 of a cup? And thus, what does mean 1 1/2″ fudge square? Thanks a lot!!
And I also forgot to ask you, what corresponds a scoop regarding to a cup? Or, what is the weight of a scoop in gramms? Gramms are easier to reproduce for me. I am totally lost…
Hi Aurelie: Scoop sizes can be a bit different, so just go with the scoop size that comes with your protein powder. The difference is not really enough to worry about.
Hi Aurlie: 1 1/4 cup is 1 cup + 1/4 cup. And 1 1/2″ means a square that is 1 ” + 1/2″. ?
Thanks a lot. And for – 1 16oz – of peanut butter, it is 1+16oz ? I converted everything in grams and it looks huge, can you confirm me it is normal ? (I mean normal = big size for lots of portions (48) for lots of people)
Hi Aurelie: This means one 16 oz jar of peanut butter, or 2 cups works also. And I’ve made these many times, and this recipe works as it’s outlined. ?
Hi Team Powell!! Thanks a lot for your reply! I definitelly adopted this receip, sooooo good and totally adictive… I just shared my adapted receip with pea protein on my blog 😉 It seems to be quite similar regarding to the nutritionnal aspect. Hope you will like it ! Cheers 😀
1 cup and 1/4th of a cup
1 inch and 1/2 of an inch
I make this recipe in a 9×13 pan and let it chill for an hour in the fridge. Then, I roll the peanut butter fudge into a ball shape (about 1/2 Tablespoon). Makes about 36. Great for eating in the morning or on the go! I love this recipe!
How many grams of fiber does a 1 1/2″ square?
Hi Melissa: Each square has 1.1 g of fiber. I’ve added this info to the post. Thank you for pointing out that it’s missing!
Sorry for stupid question but can someone write me how many grams is 1 16 oz ?
Hi Agnieska: Not a stupid question at all! 16 ounces = 454 grams. 🙂
Can I half the recipe? Just seems like a lot to make in case I don’t like it, the hubby or the kids don’t like it.
Hi Meg: Yes, you can! But I think your kids are gonna’ love it. 😉
OMG! These are the best! Perfect for a sweet fix. Peanut Butter Power Fudge here I come on Sunday. It’s already made & frozen. Actually it is quite good when eaten frozen too.
Hi. If following the Choose More Lose More plan, how would these be calculated? Carb, protein, or fat? Thanks 🙂
Elissa
These would be a great option for a reward day/meal since they have both fat and carbs. 🙂
Is there a dairy free chocolate protein powder out there that I can use instead?
Hi Rain: I’m sure there are, but I’m not familiar with any. I’m so sorry! Some people have commented on this post about other options, so that might help.
Am I reading those portions right? 1+1/4 cup honey and 3 cups oats? I just made this and it’s not really “fudgy”…. more “oaty” ?
Hi Heidi!!! What is the brand you used for the whey protein? I have Premiere protein powder but wondering what brand you recommend. You are an inspiration to women every where. You are an amazing Mom, Wife, and fitness coach!!!!
Hi Amber: Chris and Heidi love their Vemma Bode protein powder. You can learn more about it here: http://transformnow.vemma.com/. In general, choose a whey-based powder with between 15-20 grams of protein and less than 5 grams of carbs per serving.
