Self.Com Feature: Fitness Resolutions

You ask, we answer! Finally, Chris and my New Year?s Resolutions, featured on Self.com. I have big goals for myself in 2015! They include drinking a gallon of water every day and relearning how to tumble (round-off, back-handspring, tuck/layout sequence) ? I will always be a gymnast at heart!   1. I have Chiari Malformation with 2 ruptured disc in my neck. Can’t do weights or anything that will irritate my neck. But I need to lose about 40 lbs. Any suggestions.

Yes, I do have a suggestion: Check out Chris and Heidi’s carb cycling program in their book, “Choose More, Lose More for Life.” The book contains their complete nutrition and exercise program, and it’s the same one they use on the show. As for exercise, I’d suggest you discuss the exercise part of their program with your healthcare team so they can help you put together a program that will help you reach your goals and keep you safe.
