Crossfit wanting to get into this after seeing jami’s story. I started running but I like sprints or short runs. 2. Meh… Hot yoga need to google that. 3. Hiit love the idea working on a routine. 4. Dancing, ranges but I notice I burn lots of calories just playing just dance (wii game.) it’s fun and silly! 4. TRX, googling now! Is there any suggestions you can give follows for a crossfit routine that requires no equipment or minimal?
My favorite is Zumba…which is basically dancing with an attitude 😉
Love this video! I am a fitness coach and zumba instructor and nothing is more awesome then moving the body! Love you guys!!
Would love to try Hot Yoga.
I love dancing! Zumba and Hip Hop Cardio have been my favorite. I’s fun! You don’t feel like you are working out so you aren’t staring at the clock wondering how much longer until its over! LOL I think Crossfit would be fun too.
I have done all 5 of these. I love them all. I have a very bad knee, so when my knee is swollen and sore I do yoga/hot yoga. I believe the most important thing is to stay active. Whenever and however you can. Get your family involved. We go to a local track and play follow the leader. We end up doing bear crawls, crab walks, push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, planks. The kids get involved and we make exercise a fun family activity.
All of the above are great, but I think you missed an essential one….IN HOME WORKOUTS like Beachbody (P90X, INSANITY…). They are extremely effective programs and have the added bonus of free peer support. They are here to stay for sure.
My favorites are hot yoga and HIIT… would love to try Crossfit and TRX!
I would love to try cross fit, but I’m too scared of looking like the biggest weakling in the box.
I do some HIIT and I think some stuff would fall under the crossfit category and I use bands occasionally. I have never done yoga (I Know!!)so I think that would be neat to try! I like mixing things up…I bore easily!!
