My moms name is Cheryl Files. On May 18 she’s graduating from Purdue with a masters in business at the age of 54 (shhh 😉 ) Yay for her!! It’s a very exciting time! Growing up she worked hard for me and my 3 siblings. She has always been my rock and someone that I admire the most. I appreciate her more than she probably knows. Both me and her have been on weight loss journey for the last year or so. She got me out walking with her and encouraged me to do more than I thought I could. She got me into a 5k race and even though I struggled a lot to walk itbsjevwas there cheering me on! She’s not seen much success in her journey, and I go down then back up. It’s very discouraging at times and we’re both trying to help each other and push each other. Anything thing from a small tip to an encouraging word I think would be awesomely fantastic. Just to help her a little more and to see the success I know that can be there!!!
Thank you very much!!! ~~~Amanda Gutierrez
Chris, I am embarking on the journey of mother hood for the first time, but before I do I need to get in check with my health! I could use a motivating video from you so on the days I don’t want to go to the gym I can watch your video and remind myself that what im doing is for my future family. You and Heidi are inspirational..and being a mom is what I believe to be the highest reward a woman could ask to be! To a healthier me….Cheers to you and your family.
Hi, my name is Jill and I nominate me. I am a mother of three beautiful girls and our bonus surprise baby boy- who isn’t much of a baby anymore :). I went through many hospitalization and surgeries with my oldest where I became my heaviest weight. As soon as she was released and we had Bennett hospital free for more than a month I changed things up and lost that weight. I have always been able to until after I had my little man. I love to be active and have fun playin with my kiddos. I could use some words of encouragement- some you can do it’s!! I would also love some ideas on how to keep my motivation with eating. That is my one vice is that I go to food. Just a little advice would be awesome!!
Thanks!!
Jill nominating me 😉

Your a wonderful mom Yvonne! You have been with your daughter through every breakup, every bad day, and every shopping trip. You are her rock as she graduates from college and into the real world. Her life would have been different if were not her mom. You are her best friend and her mom and she loves you! Happy Mother’s Day enjoy!
PS: I got her into Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition!
My daughter Amber is an amazing young woman. She is a survivor of abuse as a child and a 2 year cancer survivor. She has 2 little ones and is a single mom. I would love for her to hear from you. She struggles so bad with her weight and self esteem. She deserves help and deserves to gain some self-confidence. Any words of encouragement would just mean so much
Hello! My name is Emily and I live in Las Vegas, NV. I have always battled with my weight and seeing my 13 year old daughter follow my lead was scary. Your show has always inspired me so I decided to try out for this past season. I wasn’t able to attend a casting call so I decided to do a video. I was not satisfied and embarrassed so i didn’t submit it. After I missed the deadline I was mad at myself and knew I had to take charge. My daughter and I started working with a strength and conditioning coach who has helped me lose 12 pounds ad 6″ in this first month. My daughter too has done amazing! We go 6 days a week and are dedicated to our new lifestyle. This is just the beginning of our transformation and hope to inspire people when we go thru our journey just as you have inspired us.
Much love and Happy Mothers Day Heidi!! XOXO
My name is: Brandi Hennefer
I would want Chris to help me know a good week of foods to eat to loose weight that are also kid friendly! You guys really need to make a cook book that is what I struggle with most not learning to eat good growing up. Now I have about 30 lbs I would like to loose!
My mom’s name is Linda and I am Suzanne. My mom is 67 years old and is a workout queen. She is at the YMCA for two hours a day in classes with those half her age and definitely keeping up (a lot of the time out doing the others). From weight lifting to spinning class she does it all. I’d love for Chris to tell her what an inspiration she is for her family to be healthy and strong no matter what age. Tell her how awesome it is that she goes out biking with friends for 30, 40, 50 miles and loves it. And tell her to keep at it until she can’t go anymore! Just tell her you love to hear stories of older ladies who are strong and inspire others to be strong and fit as well!
