  1. I am Julie from SC. I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO START LOOSING WEIGHT FOR MOTHER’S DAY. I’m such a good mother I let my weight get out of control from taking care of my 2 little boys and not worrying about myself. I would really like to win this contest. Maybe Chris could show up to SC and give me a push in the right direction. I’m 5 2 and 199 pounds waist 43. SO WITH ALL THAT SAID GOOD LUCK TO ME.

  2. Heidi I posted this yesterday, May 4 at 8:33pm. I forgot to mention that I would love Chris book!I am Marjorie Legare.

I have a very hard time with Mother?s Day for the simple reason that I was not blessed to be a mother due to my obesity. Life without children can be very lonely at times. Few years ago we rescued a little Chihuahua that became my little hairy son, he filled my life with laughter and hope. This little dog loved me no matter how big I was and he touched my heart forever. He passed away very unexpectly three years ago and I was left with a broken heart! Few months after we lost Diego, my husband rescued a little white furry friend that was alone with out food or water for 23 days and he survived! Kasper came into my life when I was hurting for the loss of my other dog. Everyday Kasper reminds me that life is worth fighting for that we can?t give up!
If Kasper could talk, I know he would ask me what would I want for Mother?s Day ?..I would tell him.. I would love a book from Chris. I think the world of him for the simple reason that he is willing to help those that have lost hope!
Kasper gives me hope that perhaps some day in the eternities I will have a chance to be a mom!

  3. Hi ! I would like to enter myself. I’m a young mother of a beautiful 20 months old little boy. I work very hard on being a good mother, a good wife for my wonderful man and I’m also currently a student. I think I deserve this price because I’m always there for everyone around me, and Chris Powell is my idol. I love watching Extreme Weight loss because it makes me realize every time how important it is to eat healthy and exercise. I would be thrilled to have a personal message to encourage me to keep all my hard work up. I train a lot, and I always try to make healthy food for my family. In between that, I try to be the best mom ever for my son. Thank you !!
    Sabrina

  4. Me: pronounced (loo-sin-duh) I want to lose weight but have trouble with making healthy choices when I’m on the go. I have 2 toddlers, a husband and I’m a full time college student. Life is busy. My needs always seem to be pushed aside for everyone else’s. Help me figure out how I can maintain my kids, household, school and my health. I could use some encouragement in staying on track in making sure I do things for myself too.

  5. My name is Nicole and I am writing about my Mother, Victoria. I myself became inspired by your show Extreme Makeover and then joined 2 Dietbets you have hosted!! Today I am writing for the most special person, my Mom. She has been the BEST Mom and Grandmother to all of her Grandkids giving up her own time to work out, so my brother and our families can work and save on the growing cost of health care. This is all while helping my Father recover from a heart attack. (he is in excellent shape, just hereditary)She is planning her 45th wedding anniversary party, after second chances and survival of my Father, next year and she would like to get started to lose 30 lbs and look fabulous. She is in her 60’s and I would Love some guidance and pointers and encouragement for her to start this journey. I would give anything for my Mother as she has been better to me than I could ever repay. I want to help her feel her very Best and look it too!! She is the most selfless and LOVING Mom and BEST friend ever!! Thank you Powell family, you are such an inspiration and we are BLESSED to all be inspired by you!!!

  6. I have lost 80 Lbs in the past two years but have been on a plateau for awhile now. I am not sure what to change up as I would still like to lose another 30-40 Lbs. Its hard to stay focused and motivated when nothing is happening visually you may be eating healthy and doing things smarter than in the past but you also like to keep the scale moving. Seeing normal people that have children and very busy life styles stay healthy and focused is motivation that you don’t have to eat the fast food and make poor choices for you or your family.

  7. For the last comment.

My wife is: Farah (pronounced like Sarah, but with an F)
    I am: Jason, her husband

  8. MY WIFE GIVES UP HER POWER YOGA SO THAT I CAN CROSSFIT!

I missed the deadline 🙁 I was trying to give my wife a break, looking after our newborn and was unable to juggle writing and soothing him to sleep. I am going to try anyways. 🙂

My wife and I are constantly inspired by your entire family, you are all always so positive and keep us going. We just recently had our first baby, it has been the best 3 months of our lives and also the most stressful 3 months of our lives. As a nurse, my wife Farah is always looking out for others before herself. We live a very active lifestyle, however with the new baby she hasn’t been able to get out for runs, yoga or pilates.

She constantly sacrifices her time to exercise to allow me to Crossfit, she knows how important it is to me, and always urges me to hang out at the box while she’s looking after the baby. Especially during the Open. I know that she’s doing this out of the kindness of her heart, so i have had guilty wods as of late. We argue (fun arguing) over who should be out exercising, and she usually wins and sends me off to the Crossfit box.

She is self-concious about her fitness, she is self-concious about her stretch marks. I tell her everyday that her stretch marks are the most beautiful thing in the world, because Oliver created them. (his nickname is Oly, not a coincidence with Oly Lifting.. haha)

A message from Chris stating that she’s beautiful no matter what, thanking her for allowing me to Crossfit and put up with my paleo(ish) ways, thanking her for motivating me. Telling her that a post-pregnant body is not ugly, but in fact the exact opposite. I love her more now than ever. A vid from Chris would be so awesome!

  9. I love my life, and I love my body. I just wish I had someone in my life like Chris to keep me motivated and keep me going. I have lost 60lbs in the last four months, all of this was done by me. I changed our eating habits, meal plans and my husband is doing his lawncare business. It’s becoming very successful. He says he gets his work it’s from there which I completly understand. It’s hard work. I on the other hand need to take time for myself to workout and get fit. I just wish we could workout together and enjoy getting fit together.

  10. My name is Sarah I am a military wife and mom to two amazing kids ages 4 & 5. While my husband was deployed I was doing amazing and lost 25lbs. I have battled with thyroid issues for the last 4 years including beating thyroid cancer. Recently I have gained weight again from this and trying to stay motivated. Working out anymore hasn’t been about loosing weight but rather staying strong and accepting what I don’t have control of. Hearing from Chris Powell would be amazing!! I truly look up to your family and everything you all do. Pick Me!!
