After the first two Perfectly Imperfect posts – both my own, and guest blogger Whippy Cake’s – the response for this series has been overwhelming! It is SO amazing to see so many of you embracing your small imperfections, and finding self-love and confidence. Today, I am so excited to be featuring a truly remarkable health and fitness blogger, Natalie Hodson! This beautiful woman is not only a ?health and fitness guru and an incredible influencer, but she’s also a proud mama of two. Her Perfectly Imperfect message is so powerful and has impacted me in such a huge way… I am honored to be able to share it with all of you today. Hi Moummar: Heidi is not accepting guest contributors at this time, but we wish you all the best!
I love this series. I think my biggest obstacle my whole life has been the little voice in my head that hold’s me back. Having started my own photography business last year it has been a struggle to remind myself I can do this. I love hearing ways to silence that little voice that doubts my journey. Thanks for this Heidi & Natalie!
Thank you, love it.
Hi
I jusit saw your video and youre right.i also see that we live in a society where perfection is expected of us and its not only unhealthy but unrealistic too. Perhaps its the reason why so many of us are stressed out.
I agree with you in that if there are people who judge and we should not have those people as connections cause they will only drag us down further.
Its important to lo love yourself and respect yourself first above all.
Thanks to my daughter who sent this to me. I have watched the video and love it. For 60yrs of my life I have never felt comfortable enough with my body, my decorating, in general life decisions. My decisions are usually seconded guessed by some people close to me so I worry and fret and cause my self a lot of anxiety that in turn I lose a lot of sleep. So thanks for the little kick to start becoming perfectly imperfect. As of today I’m making a list of things I avoid and or cause me anxiety and will make small notes about how to achieve the things make me feel better about life. Thanks again.
I will be 63 this year, and have struggled for years with my imperfections. Thank you for this blog, as I know I need to accept me for who I am, imperfections and all. So very true all that was said in the video. Small goals are much easier to reach than the long list of goals that have gone by the wayside. Thanks
