Ladies and gentlemen?our Fit Fashionista, Miss Kim Williams!! It was quite the year for Kim, and the journey definitely wasn?t all smooth sailing, but by now you know that no journey ever is!
Kim?s transformation was about taking the leap of faith. Fear had dictated so much of Kim?s existence and had kept her stuck in a miserable state. She was terrified to try to lose weight, in fear that she would fail. She was terrified to move to New York City to pursue her childhood dreams, in fear that she wouldn?t be successful. She was terrified to confront her father about her childhood, in fear that she would lose connection with her family.
There was only one way Kim could break free from this prison of fear. She desired a new life so badly, that she chose to take a leap of faith. In life, there are no guarantees, but as the great Wayne Gretzky says, ?You?ll always miss 100% of the shots you never take.?
She chose to trust in us and in the program we created for her, she chose to trust that she could speak her mind to her father and family and that they would still accept her, but most importantly, she chose to trust in herself ? in her drive, talent, and determination. After years of failures, it was hard for Kim to trust in herself, but as her journey began, and she won small victory after small victory, she began to realize that she IS capable of doing extraordinary things! And extraordinary is exactly what she became. ?
Her transformation was as fierce as she is, which made for one exciting year with this beauty! For some behind-the-scenes from the fabulous Miss Kim, check out the video below! Spoiler alert? she may have given the best Heidi impression we?ve seen all season! HILARE!

? What I wore:
The exact jumpsuit I wore for Kim?s finale was a bit pricey, so I found this gorgeous “Dress for Less” version here: Laundry by Shelli Segal!
The tie dye maxi I wore for Kim’s surprise is no longer available!! So sad, but here is another to peek at for those asking: Mandy Multicolor Maxi Dress?!

I have watched so many episodes, I’m hoping I got this right… There was a water pitcher featured at some point that filtered the water quickly and it helped her make the choice for water over other beverages… can you tell me the water filtration pitcher that was featured.
thank you.
Teresa
Hi Teresa: I’m so sorry, but I don’t know what type of pitcher that was. 🙁
Hi Heidi,
I watch the show in Poland and just wanted you to know that you really inspired me:) I’ve never struggled with obesity, wich is actually the main reason why I became lazy and never enjoyed sport or paid much attention to healthy diet – I was slim anyway.
I’m not in to tv shows like this but theres something amazing about you and chris…and whatever that is it convinced me to get on my bike, start running and eat 5 meals a day.
Your passion is contagious! 🙂 well you have at least one Polish fan 😀
Ps. Sorry for my English grammar 😉
Hi Marta: This is amazing – thank you for sharing this with us. You got this!
Hey there! I’m really curious what the recipe is in Kim’s EWL episode for the dish that was made in the kitchen with Rocco which was made with shredded cauliflower. I appreciate the help! And I love this show, really inspiring!
Hi Kristin: You can find the recipe for this dish in Rocco’s book, “Cook Your Butt Off”: http://amzn.to/1EBbZf5. 🙂
Hi! Thanks for watching my episode Ive posted Roccos dish on my blog blog.iamkimwilliams.com/the-team / rocco-dispirito enjoy!
I was interested in the recipe as well. Looked very delish and on the episode it stated you could find this particular recipe and others on the ABC webpage under EWL recipes but I’ve had no luck.
You might be able to find this recipe on Kim’s website: http://blog.iamkimwilliams.com/in-the-kitchen-with-kim/. 🙂
I was totally invited by Kim after watching her transformation and I could relate. Just under. A year ago I had a knee injury and I haven’t been able to get my head back In the mountain biking and played it very safe. We are an active family and my husband and 2 children race mountain bikes competitively. Me, well I sit on the side lines and take pictures. I do pre ride all the courses but not with the conviction I had before and my body is showing it as I know I need to lose 30 lbs for sure! I have read Chris book but the carb cycling seems confusing but I might just need to re read it. I always thought that carbs where my problem and tried to avoid them. I know it’s about making the right choices and that’s what I have a problem with. This Tuesday when my kids go back to school I will enrol in a gym(even though I have equipment here in the basement) and focus on me. I’m 47 and losing the weight has always been a struggle all my life. My husband says I’m beautiful and have a great figure(typical Eurpoean figure with big hips and small waist) but I’m not seeing it. I used tori de myself on my flat belly my now have a bulge that I need to get rid of. I’ve always carried my weight in my legs (big thighs) and they are powerful due to years of skiing and now cycling but have excess fat. Any suggestions on where to start to get me back to where I want to be. I do know I have some emotional issues to resolve and get over- I grew up with a brother calling me thunder thighs and that’s how I see myself. Help!
