If you have concerns about supplements, I’d definitely talk to your healthcare team about them. You might also ask them about your concerns with your weight gain and see if they have any ideas about why this is happening for you.
Hello, you and chris have both been an inspiration on me.
I am going on 22 years old, and I have been in a difficult journey throughout my life that had led me to slowly gain weight over most of my life. I honesty don’t remember what life is like being at a normal weight. But these last few years alone, i have had a lot happen that had caused my environment to change as well as my emotional/mental status. These changes has allowed me to gain even more weight at a faster rate. Right now i am at around 406lbs. I have attempted to lose weight many times, but i guess you could say that i am stuck in a hole that i am having a really hard time pulling myself out of. I would like to find a protein shake to curb my appetite when I feel really hungry but they are all so thick and chalky. I find that I get “gaggy” trying to drink them or even just fruit smoothies. You say your protein drinks are good but before I spend a lot of money (currently laid off 1 day a week due to Cvirus) do you have a sample of the chocolate and vanilla that I can try? I hope so. My daughter’s drink protein shakes but I can’t get past the chalky think gag thing. Thank you!
