Gosh, every single time I look at all these amazing results from last years America’s Fittest Couple Challenge, I am floored! The changes made in such a short amount of time were phenomenal, and the best part is all of the success stories we’ve heard about how AFCC actually strengthened relationships! We always say…the couples the play together, stay together! And by play…of course we mean workout! 😉

We do tough mudders together for fun!
My hubby and I love to workout doing outdoor bootcamp sessions and krav maga! We motivate each other to not quit.
My husband and I love to go outside with our kids and throw the football, play basketball or go for a run with the family! It’s been tough since we have added our third baby to the mix to get time in to do those things but it’s great whenever we get the chance! We would love this extra boost!
Hubby and I love to spend time at the lake skiing, tubing and wake boarding with the kids.
My husband and I like to turn the house radio up and have a dance off. It is a great work out
My husband and I love hiking with our dog, as well as long walks. We love working out together in the garage and taking silly pics when we are sweaty!

About a year ago we started our journey of being healthier and stronger. We started with the home video workouts insanity. We then began P90X. We fell out of our routine twice when we moved two times, but once we were settled again we attempted to excercise and prep again.
My husband and I have a 2 year old and 3.5 year old. Sometimes we would get frustrated because we felt we were always needed or climbed on like a jungle gym once we started our workout video. Also, my husband’s work schedule changes from second, third and first shift, plus his days off are not always the same. There would be nights where he would get home from work at 10:45PM and make me to my workout before I went to sleep if I still hadn’t done it.
We just got a gym membership about three months ago, and I thank him often for that because the child care is such a game changer for this stay at home mom. I can take my time and not be distracted and I always come out a happy mama instead of an annoyed stressed mama because I didn’t have to keep pressing pause or rewinding or taking it personally when my children wanted to play and climb on me. Plus we had more options and I love the sauna!
I began with a trainer because I was weak, not familiar with lifting weights and wanting to be able to do the same program with my husband when my sessions are up.
We used to enjoy riding our bikes together but have not done that since before our kids since we never got a bike trailer, but our favorite thing we can do now are HIIT workouts. Sometimes when he gets home from work at night one of us chooses the challenge exercise and see who can do it the longest like over head arm claps or flutter kicks. The winner gets what they want like a massage, or dish duty or screen time in bed.
P.S. The trainer I had asked me to bring in a photo of someone that I want to look like and there were two people I chose and you were one of them, and I am 25. You inspire me as a mother, friend, wife, Christian, athletically, and in a way of self love and love for other people. Even if I don’t win I am still going to purchase your program when my sessions are used up!
My best friend and I enjoy walking and talking…even if it?s just around the mall. We also enjoy random dance parties with her son or my niece and nephew.
