Gosh, every single time I look at all these amazing results from last years America’s Fittest Couple Challenge, I am floored! The changes made in such a short amount of time were phenomenal, and the best part is all of the success stories we’ve heard about how AFCC actually strengthened relationships! We always say…the couples the play together, stay together! And by play…of course we mean workout! 😉

We exercise daily during the week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday we run; Tuesday and Thursday we lift). But my favorite thing to do with him is on the weekends. We go for walks or hikes and talk. We get to connect with each other and we are doing it while being active. There is something about walking out in nature that makes us start talking (more than usual) I always feel the closest to him when we are walking. Very therapeutic!!!!!
Our favorite activity to do as husband and wife is bike riding. We don’t get to do it as often as we’d like, but it’s glorious when we get the chance.
My husband and I have done a few active date nights rock climbing, and for our 5th anniversary we hiked Camelback mountain in Arizona. We love workouts in our living room after the kids go to sleep. We?ve let school and our busy lives get in the way of our nutrition and I?ve been trying to get back on track for a while- it would be so much easier to have him doing it along side of me! He?s ready, and so am I!
Hey Heidi! Me and my boyfriend reaaaaallllly love being active, we love boxing! Bike riding is next! And taking our dogs to the beach. We are even recent Warrior Dash conquerers!!
We were recently hit by hurricane Harvey on the coast here in Texas. Cleaning up has entirely taken away our chances to get to boxing, or leaves no energy for a bike ride anymore. Our little island isn?t the same, and not being able to get outside like we use to is really putting a damper on not only our mental states, but we?re not getting exercise. Which is depressing!!!! We need help!!

We love to walk/run together. It?s the best time to communicate!
Our favorite activity to do is to swim even tho I’m self conscious he motivated me to stay postive and we always end up having fun. We also enjoy going on long hikes threw the mountains and exploring thing.
My husband and I love going to the gym together! We don’t always train the same but it’s nice being there together for support and motivation!
My Husband and I love going hiking together for a ton of different reasons. Mainly, it’s the only cardio I don’t hate ? But it’s also great because my 3 year old can come along and get a great workout as well, and when she gets tired my husband just puts her on his back in a carrier and she falls asleep.
My favoritist workout partner is my hubs and our 3 girlies… our garage is our gym, although, I wish we used our equipment a lot more than we actually do…
Our favorite activity currently is taking our dogs on walks. My husband loves hiking, so I’d also like to get into that to enjoy at least the day hikes with him.
