Whether it?s Christmas, the 4th of July, or really any holiday in between, our family loves any excuse for “themed” foods. Since I’m admittedly not one to spend tons of time in the kitchen (I mean, c’mon…I’m a mom of 4 with about 6 full time jobs), I MUST find holiday-themed meals that are simple and quick. In true Heidi-fashion (or maybe not!), I’m uber prepared to please the kiddos this St. Patty’s Day. Behold…a healthy green treat that will make their bellies happy and isn?t packed with chemicals! The best part about this shake? The kiddos won’t even realize they are drinking their veggies. And here?s an added bonus…If they carry it around with them today, they won’t get pinched. 😉

Can we mix the greens use kale, spinach and collard greens together?
Hi Andrea: Yes, if you’d like to mix the greens to make up the 2 cups total of greens, go for it!
I am a newbie to your program and I am living all the recipes to get me started and help me along the way. Thank you for all of your great videos and tips.
Would love the Vitamix. The hulk shake looks fantastic.
Hi Heidi I am having a hard time getting bod e shake mix any other suggestions on your next favorite kind?
Hi Lori: Chris and Heidi recommend low-fat, whey-based powders with between 15-20 grams of protein and less than 5 grams of carbs per serving, and this can serve as the protein portion of any meal. Hope that helps!
Would this be a possiblebreakfast item on the turbo plan?
Hi Sarah: Yes! This could totally be a breakfast on the Turbo Cycle! Enjoy!
This is the first green smoothie ove tried that I like. Actually, I LOVE it. Can’t taste the greens at all! New favorite breakfast! Thanks!!!
Hello Melissa,
Do you put the protein powder in your shake? since it says men only.
Hi Kristin: Women don’t add protein powder to this shake, only men since they require more protein than women. Enjoy!
Can a week’s worth be made at the same time and keep in the refrigerator until used?
Hi Debbie: You could try it, but the banana and avocado might turn brown. You might not want to keep a whole week’s worth, maybe just 2-3 days’ worth, and you’d want to re-blend it also each time before drinking.
Hi there! I just bought Extreme Transformation and I have a question on what could be a good substitute for bananas. They seem to be a staple in shakes and smoothies everywhere. I have a sensitivity to them. Same with avocado, although the avocado symptoms aren’t quite as bad as banana. Ideas?
Hi Wendy: In most recipes, you can substitute other fruits for the bananas.
Hi folks I have a question, I am lactose intolerant and I see the recipe calls for Greek yogurt. Any type of yogurt affects my stomach and the lactaid pills don’t work. Any suggestions? I usually do my greens drink with coconut water, pineapple, strawberries and spinach. While it tastes wonderful I am always looking for something different.
Hi Nickee: You can try using a protein powder in place of the Greek yogurt, and hopefully that will work for you!
Almond milk
Hey!
This shake is great! Definitely doesn’t have the usual greens taste, hahaha!

Thankyou for the recipe!
