My Mom’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls

Over the years, there’s one thing my friends ask for more than anything when it comes to my mom…her number. Kidding! Okay, not really, but the SECOND most requested piece of information from my hot mama is her Chocolate Peanut Butter Energy Balls.

My mama loves her some balls (protein balls?get your mind out of the gutter!), and after we went on Good Morning Arizona and she shared her long-loved favorite, my phone was blowing up with requests for a full recipe and how-to from the legend herself!

I’ll be honest…I’m kind of regretting letting the cat out of the back about just how amazing Mama Lane is. With all her fancy tips + tricks, amazing recipes, and secrets to reversing aging, this might just become the Lauri Lane show with me as the trusty sidekick. I thought the obsession with my mom would end with high school, but no such luck. 😉

Again, of course, I’m kidding. I absolutely adore this lady and am so lucky she shares her wealth of knowledge on basically EVERYTHING with me, including this recipe! So let’s get started!

Kitchen + Outfit Details:

Let me tell ya’, healthy living really runs DEEP in this family! And I?m so very grateful to my mom for that! Mom even used our Chris + Heidi Chocolate Low Carb Meal Replacement Shake Powder in this recipe, you guys. Gotta’ love her! These balls are great when paired with a chocolate protein shake too!

Is there anything better than peanut butter and chocolate? I’m 100% sure that Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups have proven just how perfect the pairing is. BUT with a few simple tweaks to your go-to snacks, you can be enjoying this beloved treat while staying on track and saving on time. That’s a win, win, win.

Special thanks to my mama for her help on this recipe. Now we’re off to enjoy these snacks and the summer sun.

xo,

Heidi

  1. I love, love, love the Peanut Butter Balls! I’m doing the protein powder. Totally love it. I’m a former Jenny Craig customer. No longer on their plan. But began following you and Chris. I’m maintaining weight loss following you two. The peanut butter balls gets me through the sweet faze, but helps keep me on track eating something good, and not grabbing a peanut butter cup my husband stores in the house.

  2. I’m confused on when to eat these. They are high carb and high fat, and on the turbo cycle you don’t eat carbs with fat.

  3. My daughter made these today, I held back from eating them all and only inhaled 2, sooo good!! So easy to make too thanks for sharing! Another great way to use the yummy Transform meal replacement powder! The perfect secret ingredient!
